The Cross Hotel

Came here for a few days in march to explore Rome. Overall had no issues with this hotel other than on 1 occasion drinks were added to my tab that should never of existed more specifically because I don't drink alcohol, after speaking to management for over 1 hour it eventually got sorted and I made it clear I wanted to pay as I went along as opposed to the room. Breakfast is not really all that so if there is a difference in price go with Room Only options and grab your food out. Other than that It was a really nice stay, hotel is not far from the Tubes to get around rome or if your up for the long walks around rome for the sights that is also nice. Would stay with the business again, however next time I would stay in there hotel near the Trevi Fountains.

I am giving the Cross Hotel 3 stars mainly because of the location. Right next to the hotel, there is a homeless camp that takes over the street, and at night it did not feel safe to walk around. Because of this, we were basically obligated to take an Uber whenever we wanted to go somewhere. The hotel itself was nice, and I have no complaints about the staff. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The room was also nice and comfortable. I especially want to mention the young bartender at the outside bar. He was excellent at making drinks and provided great customer service. He was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was okay, but I didn’t really like the eggs, and the juice was not very good. Overall, the hotel itself was nice and the staff were great. My biggest concern was the area immediately around the hotel, especially at night. I hope the situation in the area improves because it would make the experience much better for guests.

Escrita We spent two wonderful nights at this hotel in the heart of Rome, and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely exceptional, making it the perfect base from which to explore the city. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming, always ensuring that we felt well looked after. The food was also outstanding, adding an extra touch of enjoyment to our stay. What impressed us most was the excellent value for money, especially considering the quality, service, and fantastic location. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly and would be delighted to return on our next visit to Rome. A truly lovely experience!
