Chalet Alberti

Obecně platí, že pobyt byl barbarský, hostitelé nezapnuli ohřívače, nebo říkali, že ohřívají ve dnech 12-17. To není v italském stylu. Na straně plus byla docela čistá koupelna, lyžárna, ale všude jsme se museli dívat na pár kroků a světlo nefungovalo dobře.

I would like to recommend apartments Chalett Alberti in Bormio. We really appreciate the localization and I can tell that everything was prepared as we expected. People from the office were very polite and helpful, whatever I asked they had an answer. I didnt have any problems with payment, I could use bank transfer, pay by card or by cash, it was very convenient. The bus station was about 50 meters from the Chalet, and Bormio Terme about 200 from the Chalet. Anybody who will come to this place will not be disappointed.

11 cyclists travelling from the UK to bag a few of the Italian Alps before the winter snow sets in. We had 3 apartments on the same level which were brilliant and had everything you could possibly need with very comfortable beds. The location is great, just a short walk into town and to the Terme Spa - which was great after a long day on the bike. We were given the key to the ski room in the basement so we could keep our bikes secure and there was no problem arranging a late checkout to match our flight times. Every direction you travel by bike from Bormio there is a marque climb to tackle and we managed Stelio (twice), Gavia and Mortirolo in the 3 days we were there. These chalets are highly recommended for anyone considering a cycling trip to Bormio. Fantastic.

The fairly new apartment was clean and enough space for our family of four. By e-mail we requested measurements and details on the apartment to ensure free path of travel and handicap access for a wheelchair. Despite assurance it would work, the unit had one step to enter and the shower was tiny and the door was very narrow. We enjoyed being within walking distance of downtown Bormio and the Bormio Therme, great to leave the car in the garage. The kitchen is equipped with the essentials but lack cleaning supplies and kitchen towels. The major drawback was the Wi-Fi, the signal was very sparse and week. Most of the time we could not log-on. Finally we went to a bar or restaurant to get internet access. The owner was on vacation and the office only covered check-in/check-out and the code for the Wi-Fi, good for 5 hrs and one device. Overall the apartment was nice and welcoming, but not the best for someone with special needs.

Abbiamo soggiornato nel bilocale al secondo piano. Ambiente spartano, avrebbe bisogno di una rinnovamento e di un po’ di personalizzazione. Per quel prezzo si può trovare decisamente di meglio. Salviamo la zona che è molto piacevole d’estate.
