Location, just at the lake and as the rooms in the main building all go out to the lake, not much noise from the road and the tracks will disturb you. A very grandiose look over the lake. Disadvantage, the next town is a good 30 minute walk. Rooms: Nothing to write home about, standard hotel rooms with the exception of the view which is splendid. Food. A truly mixed bag. The breakfast is very nice (especially of Italy), with a good choice from hot to cold dishes, served in buffet with again this wonderful view. We had one dinner in the main restaurant and that was truly awful. The worst risotto in my life (we were a group of 18 and nobody finished it) the potatoes with the main were literally destroyed and the meat was tasteless and overcooked. Staff Also a mixed bag, Reception and breakfast crew were friendly and efficient. The waiters at the bar and in. the main restaurant, disinterested, unfriendly and not willig to even walk the 10 m from the bar to the pool to ask if you want a drink. All in all a mixed bag. Improving the kitchen and the wait staff it could be wonderful. Tip: Make sure you get dinner outside.

We were a group of 45 staying at the hotel for a weekend for my 60th birthday celebration. I had an informal dinner which was fun and handled really well by the restaurant manager (I can’t remember his name) . The staff were super friendly and handled all the guest’s requests and questions professionally. All the guests had a fantastic time. The location on the lake is superb and it is reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A lot of nice things about this property - great views, amazing pool and vista and very friendly service. Stayed in a Queen with balcony - a bit small although very clean and well appointed (looks like bathrooms were updated recently). Nice small balcony with amazing views. There is both an adults pool and a with children pool - so very peaceful. Amazing views from breakfast area and great cocktails. About an easy 30 minute walk into Iseo (or 6-7 drive) which is a nice place to alternate dinners. Tip: there is reserved parking on site for approx 15 euros per day - so very ideal for travelling. Tip 2: Drive to the town of Lourve for an hour or two - very peaceful to walk around the cobble stone streets

Wonderful hotel set on the lake which provides first class accommodation, dining and a relaxing infinity pool that takes you up to the side of the lake. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the location of Pilzone station gives you quick and easy access to other beautiful areas of Lake Iseo including Mount Isola. Happy to highly recommend this Hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights in October as a part of a tour for Northern Italy. We were in room 119, which appears to be an ‘add on’ as it was the only room that jutted out from the from of the building, with a view of the fire escape stairs on the front and a very narrow mountain view. Most rooms on this property have a lake view. This was a nice, big room with good hanging space and lots of shelf space. It has side tables with a plug by each bed side (no USB.) and the bed was comfortable. The biggest issues of this room were the noise from the busy streets and the very noisy trains passing the front of the hotel, and the cigarette smoke smell. When we opened the windows to cool off the room, the smoke from the employee smoking section below the room, and their loud conversations our room came into our room. The lights outside on the front of the building also kept the room lit up at night, despite the drapes being closed. They have a very good breakfast here, with the usual meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts and pastries, along with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage and fruit. Evening drinks were pricey, and our group provided dinner was mediocre with very slow service. We sat with dirty plates for 15+ minutes. The hotel location is the biggest issue for me, as it is not near anything. There is a restaurant with a 10 minute walk north, and Iseo is a thirty minute walk to the south. There are sidewalks to get to each location. This is probably a nice place to stay as long as you are not in room 119, with the noise and smoke issues and the terrible view.
