Hotel Florida

The standard room (200 euros per night) I stayed in had no soundproofing, it was impossible to rest with air conditioning because the fan makes noise like a helicopter, persistent indefinite metallic noises at all hours of the day and night. The doors to the rooms have the thickness and type of those used in the bathrooms of motorway service stations, what happens in the corridors can be heard perfectly in the room. However, the room is clean, the furniture is from the 2000s with a TV arranged in a non-symmetrical way with respect to the bed. Semi-firm mattress not well balanced and the length of the bed is not suitable for people taller than 1.75 cm, either your head touches the headboard or your feet stick out from the edge at the bottom. Walk-in closet with sliding door with a cabinet inside with three niches to hold shoes or other objects. Mini bar with 2 beers, 2 cokes and 4 bottles of water available and can still hold 2 bottles with a capacity of 1.5 liters. Safe as per standard 25x15x40 cm. Bathroom with access step and minimal space for one person at most. The bidet is not accessible for people of robust build. Paid parking 300 meters from the hotel with a deposit of 30 euros for the remote control. Bicycles (which should be cleaned of dust) for free use for 3 hours and with a deposit of 5 euros. Salty and sweet morning breakfast with sufficient variety. Covered swimming pool on the roof with stainless steel tub, equipped with hydromassage. Welcoming and clean sunbeds with sponge towels available. Beach service with two deckchairs and umbrella 100 meters from the hotel, very convenient. The staff, for 80% of those I had contact with, was helpful and courteous, except for some annoyed attitude from the reception upon provocation and request for further clarification. The lighting of the external sign at the top of the building is 50% out of order, this added to the general state of the hotel gives a feeling of little care for the environment: we are still talking about a hospitality facility that would like to boast 4 stars. Aware that the work of several people depends on this facility, I cannot help but be honest in the overall assessment of my experience, which I will not repeat in this facility and under these conditions.

To point out: always clean and nice smell in common spaces, great personnel, room was a bit small but celan, tidy and well equipped - we were satisfied To improve: wi-fi was not usable, upload is none existing, this is quite big deal for us, 1,5 star Food: quite ok, limited selection probably due COVID-19 period Location: great, near children park and at start of walking/shopping/entertainment area

The inside pool is so great! Has no deep end. Great for families. The bar n the service is spot on! Breakfaste was good too. On the roof of the hotel u see the beach n can catch some sun rays. Room was ok. The area is great for shopping n resturant. Will recommend n def go back!

Hotel Florida has simple modern beach style design, which cant offend anybody. Room was very clean and had super quiet and well functioning aircondition, just seemed more spacious on pictures. Food in restaurant was very good, especially breakfast in austrien style=super, for me in particular fresh fruit salat. For dinner they offer 4-course menu, but you can choose from at least 5 warm starters(delicious home made pasta), 5 mail dishes and salat buffet, also they offer around 5 dessert options. Dont need to try any other hotel next time in Lignano.

Ein schönes Hotel in bester Lage. Wir waren zum 2. Mal hier und haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Superfreundliches Personal und sauberes Zimmer. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastronomie. Service im Restaurant ist sehr gut und das Abendessen ist immer ausgezeichnet!
