My wife Annie visited this hotel with her mum 46 years ago when she was 15 (1979). It was always a dream of hers to return and we both needed a break so off we went. The hotel was modern and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly the breakfast buffet was substantial and delicious. Our room was small but well appointed. Very clean and our balcony had a side view of the sea which was fine. The only criticism was that the air conditioning fan worked well but there was no way to control the air conditioning in our room. It got hot and stuffy so we opened the window and subsequently on our last day (of 3) we were eaten alive by mosquitos. In fairness I did not report this as we were only there for three days but it's an issue we'd need to have sorted if we went again. Mosquitos hate cold rooms! The pool was very clean and well attended by staff who ensured we had service throughout the day. The beautiful beach with powdery sand was seconds away with a dedicated area for hotel residents. Beach towels were free. We dined in and around Jesolo during our stay and the food was excellent and really affordable. Two for dinner with wine was rarely over 130 euros and the rating was 5* every time. We mistakenly took a local bus one morning to Punta Sabbioni with the idea to take boats to the islands. HUGE MISTAKE. Local buses are like the tube in Japan they stop at every stop even when full and people fight to get on. Claustrophobic, unsafe and searingly hot. AVOID at all costs. Take a taxi if you value your sanity. I had to get off as this mechanical hotbox lumbered slowly toward the port, swearing loudly that this was fcuking insane! We walked the remaining 3K to the port only to find the same madness at the boats. Massive queue that once the boat was in surged forward to get a seat. We decided to give it a pass and came back to Jesolo to spend the rest of the day on the beach and by the pool. We took a different bus back that was almost empty. Lido di Jesolo was truly wonderful despite the odd niggle. We will go back again age permitting! Hotel- 4* (air con) Service-5* Food-5* Pool-5* Beach-5* Cleanliness-5* I left a signed copy of my award winning book 'Dead Ahead' with the hotel. Another copy of the worst book ever written now in Italy!
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Before the trip I emailed the concierge with several questions and they responded quickly the next day. Once we arrived, our room was ready around 14:30 and we enjoyed a beautiful side ocean view room. The room was very modern with wonderful air conditioning. There was also many different compartments to store our luggage and clothes. Also, this hotel room was extremely quiet. we did not hear many other guests or any noises outside. The front desk was very accommodating several times during our stay when we had issues with our safe, room key, and a special birthday request. We loved riding bikes in Jesalo in the morning and exploring the town. We also reserved a pool chair during our stay so that we could have a reserved spot at both the beach and the pool. They did not have a gym in the hotel but the front desk directed us to one within a 5 minute walk. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a boutique with wonderful service. I hope to return to Jesalo one day for another seaside vacation!
Beautiful throughout, staff very friendly and informative - reception staff, bar staff, pool maintenance staff, breakfast staff, cleaning staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent, cleanliness excellent, location excellent, would highly recommend. Thankyou to you all for making a wonderful holiday.
Hotel Galassia Annie’s third visit her first was 47 years ago and our second one together on the month of our 20th wedding anniversary. A warm welcome beside the Adriatic bright mornings, gentle evenings, wonderful staff and excellent service that made every day feel effortless. We leave Lido di Jesolo with happy memories and gratitude for a truly special stay. We will return
