Marina Julia Camping Village

We stayed here for a week with Eurocamp. We would stay here again if more was open. Pros: - Our cabin was really clean, the beds were comfy and we loved the outside seating area. - The whole site is accessible! And direct access to beach is fab! - The water park is brilliant and the splash pad is great for kids! The mini disco in the evening was good too. My little girl enjoyed it. - Lots of spaces to park cars. Well signposted camping village and clearly designated areas. - Great value for money! And it wasn’t noisy at night. Cons: - Expect to be waiting a long time to check in. We waited 90 mins in 32 degree heat. No apology and no sense of urgency for check in to be quicker. - We requested a travel cot for our baby but it was broken. We reported it right away and was told someone would come replace it that evening. We waited til 9pm and when we chased it reception had closed, and our eurocamp reps had gone home. They came the next day…not ideal at all. No apology. - The high ropes, mini golf and lazy river were closed. When we asked when it would open we were told it would open in high season (July and August). This is not written anywhere! - It was stipulated that our cabin would have a kettle and hair dryer. We had neither. When we asked our reps they could only provide us with a kettle. - Bring lots of bug spray you will be bitten!

A very nice holiday experience. The camping offers spacious bungalows, with small terraces and lots of space around them. The camping is in a pine forest, so most of the time you are well covered from the sun. The houses are clean, but require some renovation. Because they’re heavily used sometimes you can have some bad smell in the bedrooms - we had to buy some air fresheners to kill it. The kitchens are well equipped. Bathrooms are also ok. The swimming pool is the high point of the camping - the Olympic pool has an obstacle course which is great for the kids, the pool itself is nice for training and for a cool down on hot days. It’s almost 4 metres deep so make sure you have a safety jacket for your kid. The kids’ pool is great fun and so is the lazy river. And of course there are also the slides - which are awesome. The beach is rocky and a bit disappointing. Because of the currents the water is rarely clear and blue (rather greenish), but it’s good for SUPs and fishing or lazy swimming on a matress. For food - you can buy pretty good pizza in the restaurant, but for other stuff I recommend a vist to Monfalcone or Trieste or Grado. For shopping best go to the Co-op in Monfalcone, the food is great there. In general we spent 2 weeks here and we would come back. It’s a nice start for trips to Triest, Palmanova and Aquielia, and also Slovenia: Postojnska or Skocjanska Jama, or Pira . We also took a day trip to Venezia. The set of places is a good plan for a trip every second day mixed with relax at the camping and beach. The camping is easy to reach, as it is close to the highway. It took us a 10 hour drive from Poland, with stops included.

Familly friendly 👍 dog friendly 🐩🐩 We spend here 14 very nice days and we definetly come beck next year. Fantastic animation team 🇮🇹👍🎶🥳

Me and my family really loved the camp and we will definitely be coming back. The staff is friendly, the camp is clean and the animation program is amazing. It's dog friendly which is perfect if you can't leave your dog at home. The swimming pool area is nice and perfect for lively little kids. Not a single bad thing me and my family can say about this camp.

Firstly I will like to talk about the reception, lovely people at the front desk and always ready to solve all our minor problems, restaurant is top notch and the guys at the bar, Giulia,Max,donata and the rest I don't remember the names.lovely waterpark led by Leo the chief life guard. Now to the best part of our vacation, the entertainment group,young people with so much love and good energy, Aurora with her lovely smile and fitness activities,Luca our favourite dancer and always ready for good dialogues,Ernesto from Cuba was with the best energy ever,the girls from the mini club are super lovely, always have different activities everyday,Claudia and Franziska and then the mini club manager Chiara who has the best smile and energy,entertained us with her babydance. Now to the captain of the team, PRINCE the most amazing human you can find, always gentle and very respectful,well organised and always ready to satisfy every of our desires. With his favourite frase "HO DETTO CIAOOO".And also the director Mr Marco was also everywhere to make sure things work accordingly. Thanks marina julia and we hope to see you soon again.
