MOC RÁDI SE DO TOHOTO HOTELU VRÁTÍME. DOPORUČUJI PODÍVAT SE PŘEDEM NA PROGRAM TEATRO GRECO V TAORMINA A ZAKOUPIT VČAS VSTUPENKY NA AKCE ZDE POŘÁDANÉ.

Just back from a weeks stay at the Albatros Beach Hotel and this was a fantastic option for a stay close to Taormina. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and our room was cleaned to a fantastic standard throughout. We stayed in a courtyard view room, the view was not the best, so we didn't spend a lot of time on the balcony, so I would consider upgrading next time to a sea/pool view. Food was great - breakfasts were fine, mostly continental, but you had to pay extra for omelettes/eggs etc. We stayed on a half board basis, and dinners were a la carte style, which was a great change to the usual buffet style. Dinners were very fish-heavy, something to consider if like us you don't eat fish, but we always found something to eat. The beach is €20 for two beds and an umbrella, however most other places along the promenade are €10 for two beds and an umbrella and most of these places are also just about half the price for drinks etc too. The beach bar is lovely, but was very quiet when we were there, probably because it was the start of the season - other places were busy, so the prices might have something to do with this too. The hotel runs a shuttle service to/from Taormina for €10 return per person, which was fantastic - you just book your place at reception, advised to do this early as this fills up fast. Just about everything is charged to your room when paying for drinks etc, but you can just pay these as and when if you like - we done this to keep on top of things to avoid a large charge when checking out. Overall, a fantastic stay and a fantastic hotel. Would definitely recommend and consider returning if back in the area!

Albatros Beach Hotel is in a great location. A 30 minute bus journey to Taormina with the bus stop being just a short walk away from the hotel. The bus journey was a nice travel taking in some of the sites on the way. Only costing about 1.30 euros pp ew. It comes once an hour though in the daytime The staff are very helpful & have good knowledge of the area. We had breakfast every day whilst we were here, which had a good selection. We even had a takeout breakfast for our early departure and it was very good indeed. The room was nice & modern & very clean. However, the wardrobe is not suitable for dresses as it’s short with drawers underneath. The shampoo is terrible, it’s like water - no conditioner supplied so I’d recommend taking your own, of both. The pool area is nice however no parasols & it’s super hot especially on the floor, the seats are strange not fir lounging but okay to sit on briefly. A big bonus whist relaxing on the beach on the sun loungers, was that the WiFi reached! The sun loungers are chargeable at €25 for two on the first two rows and €20 for rows 3 and behind Lovely array of restaurants along the seafront close by. We ate at Mama a steak restaurant opposite the seafront which was nice just make sure if you do too, that they don’t charge you for drinks they bring out that you haven’t asked for but just bring over after you’ve eaten ie: limoncello or a different version to help with digestion they say haha - my husband had his but I declined yet they were both on the bill There is a local gym close by, out the rear entrance of the hotel turn left and keep walking up the road you’ll find it on the right hand side charges at €10 per day it’s not open everyday though but enough Overall a lovely place to stay in Sicily

Albatros Beach Hotel is in a great location. Close to Taormina where we done a few excursions. The bus journey was a nice travel into Taormina, taking in some of the sites on the way. The staff are very helpful & have good knowledge of the area. We had breakfast every day whilst we were here, which had a good selection of a full continental. The room was nice & modern & very clean. A big bonus whist relaxing on the beach on the sun lounger, we were in the first row & the WiFi reached 👍🏻

We had a lovely weeks stay here, the staff on site are really friendly and helpful. Our room, we felt was small for a 'superior' category, but was kept clean throughout. Breakfast was OK, quite basic, but definitely not low in quality, we were surprised to have to pay for items such as Omelets. The hotel beach costs 20 euro for 2 beds and an umbrella per day, which we did know and expect before hand, however the same beach at an independent beach club further down the seafront was only 10/12 euro so we just sat down there instead, likewise the food and drink options were also cheaper at these establishments. The hotel offers a really convenient shuttle service to Taormina which we used for a day/evening trip. They also helped us to arrange a trip to the Gambino Vineyard for wine tasting which was a brilliant half day trip and we would recommend. Our main issue was the check out process, we had a late flight and were told we could use a shower room before we left and we could pre-book this - great we thought - until we found the room was literally just a box, outside by the pool area, with no other facilities than a shower and towels are not provided - really poor exit process. We had a nice week, I don't think we would revisit the hotel or the area but we would explore other areas of Sicily as it was a beautiful country.
