Hotel Palace Viareggio

Returning to a favorite travel spot after 15 years can be risky, but the Palace Hotel is just as magical today as it was during our first visit in 2011. Stepping into this beautifully restored, century-old hotel on Italy's Art Nouveau seafront feels like stepping into a dream. Management even surprised us with a bottle of bubbly and a gift package to welcome us back! * The Location: It connects you to everything—beachfront walks, shopping, dining, and easy transit to explore Italy's world-class art and coastlines. * The Dining & Views: Our days started with an unbelievable breakfast buffet (the selection of seafood, pastries, and fresh fruits in the elaborate dining hall was beyond expectations) and ended with panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Apuan Alps from the rooftop terrace and restaurant. * The Rooms: Spacious, clean and quiet with a dedicated "pillow menu," for guaranteed comfort. * The Service: What truly makes this place special is the people. Seeing staff members who have dedicated 10 to 20 years to this hotel shows in the impeccable, warm, and responsive service. It was an unforgettable trip, and the Palace Hotel holds a very special place in our hearts.

This hotel is in a prime location on the promenade, the views from the rooftop restaurant is stunning, as is the food. As soon as you step into the hotel you are taken back to the art decor age. The jewel in the crown of this hotel is the staff,from the moment you arrive you are greeted by friendly professional staff,which is also shown in the breakfast room and restaurant,nothing is too much trouble for them Cannot wait to return.

I went with my family on this trip, and the place was beautiful. The kids loved it because the TV had a large variety of shows. And guess what! It’s a 1 minute walk from the beach! The service is nice, and so is the buffet. I would really recommend this. It was also really clean, and the beds were comfy. The room felt like a place to sleep in and relax.

Beautiful hotel. Staff are so attentive. Francessa on reception gave us a guided tour of the hotel, a lovely touch. In the restaurant Gabriella was super helpful as was Dianna. It's like holidaying in a posh house. Rooms were always clean. Breakfast was really good. If anything ran out the staff replaces ASAP. Would recommend, and hopefully return again soon.
