Hotel Palace Viareggio

Fantastic location. Right across from the sea. We went to rest and relax and that's what we did.... Lovely hotel . Very clean.Staff are wonderful. Shout out to Diana Julia and also Lara in the breakfast room and Gaicumo on the desk . You truely go above snd beyond . We will be back. Thank you so much

I’ll start on a positive note. Excellent location, wonderful beach 2 min walk across the promenade, with umbrellas and chairs. Beach restaurant has a cost shady area and pretty good food. The beach isn’t free. Approximately 30-40 Euros per day, depending on your reservation. We made reservations directly with hotel and they included access to the beach in a price of a room. Breakfast buffet is phenomenal, anything you can only imagine, even champagne. Hotel has very nice veranda overlooking the sea and promenade, where you can have drinks, snacks and dinner. Staff is wonderful, very accommodating, courteous and friendly. Front desk, lobby and breakfast area are beautiful. Property is old and when making reservations make sure you ask for room that has been renovated. Rooms that haven’t been renovated will make your stay not a very pleasant experience. I will not go into details and leave it at that. Just take my advise and enjoy your stay at Viareggio. It is a wonderful vacation spot, just couple of hours by train to Rome.

This hotel is conveniently located, across the street from the promenade and close to the historic center, we had a beautiful ocean view! The breakfast spread was amazing and included delicious hand made cappucinos, the staff were helpful and friendly, highly recommend this hotel!

I always love my stay here! The staff is wonderful, the common areas and hotel rooms are elegant and the food is fabulous. The breakfast buffet is over the top and the restaurant has excellent seasonal dishes. There were a couple adjacent parties and a wedding during our stay, but the music quit by 11:00 and it's otherwise quiet/typical street noise. The rooftop bar and dining space is amazing with views of the sea and promenade. (They have a beach club across the promenade with a pool during the summer season.) And they even have a "pillow menu" - brilliant! This is a must-stay location in Viareggio. I will be back!
