hu Montescudaio village

Fantastic, friendly camping village. Just 40 minutes south of Pisa Airport. Great base to explore coastal and inland Tuscany. Really recommend hiring car, first time we did and went with the flow on the roads. We stayed last two weeks of August when the weather was mixed but the camp started to get quiter. Stayed in premium XL which slept 5 of us very clean and comfortably with three bedrooms. two bathrooms and decent size kitchen/ living area. The four pools are well used and offer something for babies up to big adults (only up to 1.2m depth thou. ) On site shop was useful and fairly decent range of goods and prices. We didn't use the on site restaurant, used the pool bar for snacks one which were fine. Always activities going on around during the day and night. Didn't participate but plenty others enjoyed. Really helpful and super quick when asked for one or two minor maintenance issues to be resolved though QR code which was very convenient. Would recommend the organised day trip the the island of Elba, beautiful place and sir back and relax and sight see. Location wise, brilliant. Local town Cecina 5 mins away, sea 10 mins drive from the camp. Choices of local supermarkets in Cecina to help keep costs in check were plenty with plenty of choice and ranges of food. Cecina Marina has alot of bars and restaurants and had a family and couples vibe We explored more then we every have during the two weeks. Florence was amazing. Pisa, the tower and cathedral where stunning (rest of place was underwhelming). Lucca was lovely town with city wall walks and great day out. San Gimingano is really worth the drive to visit, simply stunning and lastly the other hidden gem was another hill town was Volterra.

We have been here last May holiday and the holiday was really great! Beautiful campsite and nice staff! After the first night in the cottage where we stayed we wanted to move to another location but this was absolutely not difficult and we could change for only the cleaning costs. Super service and swimming pool was also great. Especially for (small) children the soft surface of the swimming pool is ideal. The only point where they can improve is the restaurant, the food at tents in the area is much better and often even cheaper. But we had 2 great weeks!

As a 23 year old, the animation group made my stay at this camping unforgettable. My days started great because of the aqua gym and hydro bike classes. Francesca and Andrea are doing these classes with the best possible energy. Which makes it impossible not to smile during the classes. Big thanks to Francesca and Andrea for this. In the afternoon, the animation group danced by the pool. Many times followed by special activities like the colour run. In the evening, the animation group preformed amazing musicals like ‘The Lion King’'Flower' and many other shows. Every day the group rehearsed musicals until 02:00 in the night. While having to work at 8:30 on the following day. My deepest respect for this group for the hard work they do with so little sleep. And even with very little sleep, this group is smiling and giving children and adults a great day. This is a special group with a great dynamic and most of all, great people. Big thanks to Francesca, Camilla, Bryan, Beverly, Filipo, Andrea, Camilla, Fabrizio, Simba Davide, Claudio, Vitoria and Marika.

It is a very nice place in Toscane with a lot to do, The swimming pools where very crowded. The people were very nice and the service was perfect. We make nice trips around the camping place. We really had a nice holiday thank u very much, see you next time.

We stayed 12 nights at Hu Montescudaio Village in July 2024. This was the second year in a row we visited the camp site - and with good reason. Both years we have had perfect holidays in the setting of the village. Everywhere in the village is perfectly clean and beautifully maintained. We stayed in a Mobilehome which was great. It was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The entertainment in the village is next level. There is always something to do for all ages. Out children are 6 and 8 and they absolutely loved going to the kids club. We're from Denmark but our kids are both fluent in English. I think the kids club is great for kids who speak English and Dutch. Otherwise it may be more difficult. Our kids LOVED it! The animation team is absolutely amazing! They are so great with the kids and always greet them with big smiles and hugs. As well as the amazing daytime program with lots of activities, they also provide fantastic evening entertainment. We were lucky enough to catch their amazing musical production of The Lion King. The pool area is great with a good variety of pools. Another thing we really appreciated at the pool was that they not only say that it's not allowed to reserve sunbeds but they actually enforce it too. We were very happy to always be able to get a sunbed as they were not permanently reserved by people not at the pool (a problem we have seen at many hotels in the past). We expect to be back again next year and are all already excited about coming back ☀️
