Ultimo Mulino Hotel

Co je to úžasný hotel na samotě v Chianti! Převedený mlýn, tento hotel je klenotem! Je obklopen stromy a zelení a je to perfektní hotel, kde můžete relaxovat a odpočívat! Zůstali jsme v tomto hotelu po návštěvě 3 měst a nastavení nám umožnilo zotavit se. Všichni zaměstnanci byli velmi přátelští a ochotní. Jídlo a víno v restauraci ve večerních hodinách bylo ohromující a bylo na výběr hodně. K dispozici je venkovní bazén a spousta míst k sezení pod sluncem. Doporučujeme určitě tento hotel využít k dobití, odpočinku a relaxaci - zejména pokud jste strávili spoustu času při návštěvě turistických zajímavostí v okolních městech! Zůstali bychom tady opět 100%.

Můj přítel a já jsme tu zůstali na dvě noci a byl to krásný zážitek. Vybrali jsme si pokoj s terasou, která stála za to, že si můžete vychutnat večerní večerní drink na slunci. Pokoj a koupelna byla dobrá a velmi čistá. Snídaně byla skvělá (zejména pečivo a uzeniny) a jedli jsme jednu noc v restauraci, která byla vynikající. Všichni zaměstnanci jsou neuvěřitelně přátelští a ochotní, což bylo opravdu třešničkou na dortu. Tento hotel je blažený a krásný ústup. Důkladně doporučujeme.

The hotel itself is lovely, the surroundings are beautiful, and the cleaning and breakfast staff were warm, friendly and hardworking. Sadly, several aspects of the stay did not match the peaceful “country wellness” experience advertised. Our room was positioned around the dining/function area and the sound echoed badly throughout the space. We experienced loud noise from a party late into the evening, breakfast service noise early in the morning with clattering crockery, cutlery and voices, and guests talking outside our patio late at night. Even with the TV on, the noise could clearly be heard in the room, making it very difficult to relax or sleep properly. Other disappointing points included: * Hot tub was cold despite having a booked time slot * Swimming pool not heated * No shampoo or conditioner in the room * Paper cups provided for hot drinks * WiFi code changed without guests being informed Most disappointing was the response when concerns were raised. Reception came across as abrupt and dismissive rather than helpful. On one occasion I asked reception for two cups and after a brief exchange the receptionist simply walked away. When I phoned to complain about the noise, the response felt very dismissive despite explaining we could hear everything clearly from our room. Unfortunately the poor customer service continued at checkout. No one had informed us reception would be unattended until 8am despite us needing to leave early for a flight. When reception eventually opened, we were asked for €32 tourist tax. We offered a €50 note and were told there was no change available. My husband then found €2 so only €20 change was needed, but the receptionist appeared visibly irritated throughout the interaction and responded in an unfriendly and dismissive manner, which sadly summed up our experience with reception staff. Such a shame, because the hotel itself has a lot of charm and some of the staff were genuinely lovely, but overall this was not the relaxing wellness break we had expected.

I stayed at L’Ultimo Mulino Wellness Country Hotel from 13–17 March, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Tuscany in early spring is already beautiful, but this hotel made it truly special. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the team stood out. A huge thank you to David, Elena, and Arabella – your amazing work and genuine hospitality made us feel like family. Every request was met with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. You truly go above and beyond for your guests. A special mention goes to the incredible waitress Zorulle in the restaurant. She is an absolute gem – attentive, kind, and so full of positive energy. Dinner every evening was a highlight, thanks to her wonderful service and the delicious local cuisine. She made us feel so welcomed and well looked after. The wellness area is relaxing, the rooms are charming, and the surrounding Tuscan countryside is postcard-perfect. But the heart of this hotel is its people. David, Elena, Arabella , and Zorulle – you are the reason we’re already planning our return. Grazie mille for a perfect stay!

Positive: very nice staff and pet friendly Negative: it is just ok, no luxury, no wellness, just a rather small pool in the shade that you can use upon reservation 1 hour a day. But the real problem is the noise. I was in room number 1 (worst room) for 2 nights and I could hear the guests and the loud music from the restaurant, the very loud voices from the kitchen, people talking at the reception and the steps of the people going up and down from the stairs the entire day. The noises were like the room had no walls. They should really not rent this room for guests, it was the noisiest room I have every slept in, horrible! Generally all the rooms seem not to be well isolated but room number 1 is the worst, absolutely avoid. Overall I would not recommend the hotel.
