A friend and I have been skiing for more than 23 years twice a year usually. we often join other friend from around the U.K. This accommodation was well above the average stay we have experienced. Food, Staff and comfort was all of a good standard. Spacious warm rooms and cleaned daily. The negative side was that when we arrived the coach driver refused to drive up the hill to the hotel. This was questionable as to whether this was correct decision by him. Departure a week later was the same as we walked down the hill to the main road. We were expected to (and did) carry all our luggage 300 -400 metres up the hill in slippery conditions. ( just as well I am a reasonably fit 70 year old.) This service is not what is expected as if the coach could not make the climb up the hill, other transport should have been made available. - at least to take the luggage. Our representative Anne Marie was put into an uncomfortable situation by her employers and handled it well - this should have never happened. She did her best. Look after her. Another negative is not to expect to much on the entertainment. It was mostly too loud and kept others guests away from the bar - probably reducing bar takings. Unfortunately this hotel is at least 2 Km from town so not convenient to go out and explore the town easily.

Staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. I was allowed two extra hours extra in my room for my convenience on checking out. Also was given a travel adaptor plug when I found my own didn't work. This was a life saver! Hotel is very much as it is described and appears.

Hotel Regina e Fassa feels like a relic from times long gone in Eastern Europe. Like one of these holiday heavens, concrete for the masses. It’s more like a public institution than a hotel. Worn down buildings, the rooms smell like old ski boots, the food situation is horrendous, manic loud music supposedly to entertain children plays through out until 22.30 every night…and it’s not even cheap. We actually booked the nicer one of the two hotels managed by the same group. Payed for the nicer one, but got stuck here instead. Everything about it feels like a scam. Just don’t go here, is my best advice.
