TH San Martino di Castrozza

My family and I had a ski week at the TH in San Martino di Castrozza and we had great time. Upon arriving the reception staff were kind and helpful.. The hotel itself is dated, but it was clean and everything worked so we cannot complain. Breakfast and dinner were included in our stay and it was perfectly suitable for our family with young children. The restaurant staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our children were very happy with the Kids Club activities offered in the hotel and we were happy to have the time to ourselves for these couple of hours each night. The hotel bar is well stocked and again all of the staff were very friendly. The room was large and clean, with a great view of the mountains. The hotel is close to the shuttle bus which brings you to the mountain, included in the cost of the hotel. We were very happy and would return again.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The service was excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which really elevated the experience. The hotel itself has an amazing vibe, with a charming old-style ambiance that makes it feel like stepping back in time. The decor and atmosphere add so much character, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into preserving its unique style. The food was generally good. On the downside, the rooms were a bit chilly at times. I was very happy with my stay. The charm and character of the hotel, along with its excellent service, made it a memorable experience.

The worst hotel I’ve ever been to in Dolomiti. The reception staff unfriendly even rude. We booked a Classic double room but the gave us a family room (two rooms connected by the Basic door), we felt like we were in the room with strangers because we could hear everything, the hotel staff didn’t want to change the room (they offered the room but the worse standard) for a double Classic room. The food was horrible and cold (although we came at 7:30 so when the dinner starts), the bread rolls were often stale. The NEXT problem appeared when the rented skiing boots disappeared from the hotel’s skiing room. They took no responsibility for it although they told us to keep our stuff there. In the end I had to pay for the boots although they were taken from the hotel’s skiing room. They even didn’t try to help to find them. I trully recommend avoiding this hotel.

Sono stato in questo hotel nella seconda settimana di marzo con la scuola, un hotel tipico di montagna, si mangia in maniera eccezionale e i camerieri sono molto cortesi. Il problema veramente molto grave è il personale dell'hotel che difronte ad una molestia (avvenuta difronte al guardiano) da parte di uomini ubriachi che alloggiavano all'hotel non è intervenuto nessuno. Quando questa cosa è stata fatta natare al guardiano in turno quella notte, la reazione è stata piuttosto aggressiva e violenta nei confronti di questi 3 ragazzi (età compresa tra i 17 e i 18 anni), giustificando la sua inettitudine con la frase "ma avete visto come stavano, una donna di 50 anni si può difendere anche da sola" (si parla di una donna di poco più di 30 anni ma dettagli). Questa cosa è veramente molto grave ed è un gran peccato perché rende un hotel piuttosto tranquillo un luogo dove non ci si può nemmeno sentire protetti e al sicuro. Grandissimo peccato veramente.

Struttura datata ma tutto sommato comoda, camere da rimodernare benché ampie e luminose. Posizione fantastica centralissima comoda per lo shopping e per lo sci poiché di fronte alle numerose navette gratuite per gli impianti. Animazione discreta ma coinvolgente. Ristorazione top!
