Jednoduše řečeno příšerný hotel. Tuto recenzi píši přímo z hotelu, kdy jsme se nechali zlákat fotografiemi z nabídky. Realita je úplně jiná. Vybedlený hotel, který neodpovídá ani kategorii **...Malinký špinavý pokoj. Do sprchy se ani nevejdete. V pokoji si nemáte kde dát věci, jak je tu málo místa, natož usušit věci po lyžovačce. Večeře byla sice chutná, ale obsluha příšerná, neprofesionální. Snídaně katastrofa, hnus. Všude špinavé popraskané zdi. Do bazénu se neodvažuji vlést. Projeli jsme mraky hotelů jak v Itálii, tak v Rakousku, ale takovou ubohost jsme nezažili. Poprvé v životě se těším až přijedu z lyžovačky domů. Klientela jen poláci, všude řev a křik....Lyžařský areál Val Di Solle je dobrý......

Stay did not match the 4★ price and expectations We stayed at this hotel expecting 4★ comfort that would justify the price we paid, but unfortunately the reality was quite disappointing. First of all, the room and bathroom. The lighting is very old and poor, especially in the bathroom, making it feel dark and uncomfortable in the evenings. The biggest issue was that none of the radiators were working, neither in the room nor in the bathroom. This is particularly unacceptable in a ski resort, where after a full day on the slopes you expect warmth and comfort. Additionally, there is no place or system to dry ski clothes or boots, which is hard to understand at this price level. The room also lacked some basic comforts expected in a 4★ hotel. There was no kettle available in the room — while not officially mandatory, it is commonly provided in hotels of this category, especially in mountain resorts. Furthermore, the electrical sockets were very outdated, making it impossible to plug in a laptop without a special adapter. This is a serious inconvenience for modern travelers and does not meet 4★ standards. The spa area was also a letdown. According to the information provided, the saunas should be operating from 10:00–12:00 and from 15:00 onwards. In reality, they were most often only turned on after 15:00 and only upon request. More than once we arrived after using the spa facilities and found the saunas cold and not switched on, which does not match the advertised services. Another unpleasant aspect was the first room we were assigned. Its balcony was located directly above the garbage containers, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell, making it very uncomfortable to stay in the room. 💶 In terms of value for money, many of these issues simply should not exist in a 4★ hotel, especially in the Alps, where comfort during ski season is essential. ➕ Positive aspects worth mentioning: very helpful and friendly staff, who genuinely tried to assist whenever possible; excellent dinners at the restaurant — the food was truly outstanding and one of the highlights of our stay. Conclusion: the hotel has potential, but at the moment the price does not reflect the actual condition of the rooms and the quality of services provided. If these issues were addressed, the overall experience could be very different.

Great location with a very comfortable atmosphere - cleanliness is a priority with bed linen changed frequently - food is excellent - vast selection of antipasti buffet, starter, main course (could be more generous but tasty nevertheless) and desert. this coupled with excellent service make evening dinner very pleasant. The only reservation was an attitude of a senior staff (I'm told she may be one of the owners) who never seem to be happy with her work. I will however recommend this Hotel and will certainly return.

Hotel is at a very good location for walking. Town centre is 5 minutes one-way and lift station is 7 minutes the other way. Also, Conard supermarket is 5 minutes on the way to lift station. Hotel is rated 4 stars by having a wellness centre (pool and sauna etc.). There are two dining areas, waiting staff are multi-lingual in our dining area. Then there are two breakfast area at the basement level. Evening meals are pre-selected on the night before. There is a salad buffet (pretty much the same salad all week), but missing the favourite grilled peppers and aubergine. Pasta and risotto are underwhelmed and greatly vary in portion size. Mains are okay (ish) and again vary in portion size. Desserts are generally good. Breakfast has nothing outstanding to remember. Bread selection and quality is well below par. Cold cuts and cooked food are on request, not self served. The toasted cheese sandwich is rather popular – tried once – no more. Coffee and super sweet fruit juices are from machines. Rooms have comfortable beddings (a double and a single bed) and plenty of towels. There are only 2 sockets available (plus 1 in bathroom); charging devices will have to take turns. There is one chair for two occupants – an incentive to visit the communal area, but we only spotted 2 sockets in the lounge (charge your devices before heading down). TV is all Italian channels; slightly disappointed for a 4 star hotel. Wifi is free but coverage is really patchy (another incentive to visit the communal area?). The hotel has a lot of spaces and kids screaming sound travel easily. You will notice the wellness centre is busy without getting anywhere near it. You might find less tranquil in this hotel. But do add travelling cups and maybe power banks/strip on your travel. Coffee at the bar is very good.

Hotel - average size room with plenty of hanging space/storage and a comfy bed. Bathroom good size with hot and powerful shower. Hairdryer in bathroom not very powerful but adequate. Both rooms were clean. Only downside was the bedroom was very hot. We turned the heating off and still had to sleep with the door/window open. I would also suggest taking ear plugs as our double glazing didn't work very well and there is noise from the church bells and other rooms. Wifi was good in all areas including the room. Food - Breakfast is served between 7.30 -9.30. It is good with a variety of options including cereal, yogurt, fruit, various pastries/cakes, freshly made pancakes and toasties, cold meats & cheeses. Scrambled eggs were also available every day with bacon or sausage on alternate days. If items run out request additional supplies. If you are told it is finished, go to the male head waiter, he will ensure more is brought out. Evening meal is ordered the day before. Everything we ordered was good and wine/alcoholic drinks are very reasonable. We had an early departure and the hotel provided a breakfast pack up which was basic but adequate. Extras - The hotel does have a spa with two saunas, two steam rooms, pool with a swim spa in it. Jacuzzi wasn't very warm so only used it once. The spa reception provides robes and slippers which you keep throughout your stay. To use the pool you must wear a swim cap which the hotel also provides free of charge. There is a ski room but we used the Ski lockers in the ski rental shop at Pra Rodant lift. This was 63 Euro for 2 people for 6 days but they had heated boot and hat holders and were very spacious. It was also very convenient. Be aware that the hotel customers are mainly italian with some polish and dutch. There are very very few english people. Skiing in Pinzolo is part of a larger area and we had a fabulous week. Slopes are wide and well groomed. We would happily go back to Pinzolo and to Hotel Canada.
