Allsun App.-Hotel Barlovento

Velmi příjemný hotel s přátelským personálem. Většina hostů jsou němečtí senioři (dlouhodobé pobyty), ale vzhledem k bytovému stylu ubytování (oddělený pokoj a ložnice + terasa) je tento hotel oblíbený i mezi rodinami s dětmi. Jak již bylo řečeno, hotel je zaměřen na německé občany, takže kromě velmi milé dámy na recepci, která hovoří anglicky, ostatní zaměstnanci mluvili pouze německy. Ale dobře, měli jsme šanci procvičit naši španělštinu: -) Hotel je dobře udržovaný, čistý, jídlo je dobré a rozmanité, ryby, krevety, mušle, chobotnice byly chutné a dostupné denně. Lehátka jsou k dispozici pouze u bazénu, protože se zdá, že pláž není soukromá. Pokud jde o pláž - není to moc pěkné přímo u hotelu, spousta kamenů, také v moři, ale pokud chodíte stejně jako 300 metrů, pláž je široká a krásná, takže žádné problémy. Mým jediným zájmem je, proč vedení hotelu poskytuje pouze 2 solária pouze pro pokoje směřující k bazénu - pokoje směřující do ulice mají pouze 1 solárium + upozornění, že z bazénu nemůžete přivést další, takže je zřejmé, že 1 je nestačí pro mnoho hostů: -) Nebylo by to příjemné pro - klientské chování investovat a učinit hosty spokojenými s 2 lehátky? Celkově je to dobré místo pro klidný odpočinek od každodenní rutiny a já si velmi cením skutečnosti, že pokud nechcete být „animovaní“, nejste přerušeni hlučnými animacemi. Výborně, Barlovento!

Good location and nice hotel, however I felt a bit disappointed that literally everything is in German language, even attractions. This felt like holidays in Berlin, even though in Berlin would be translated in both languages English and German. Food was only OK-ish. I would love to say that waiters, especially Muhammed was lovely and kind person! Always performing 100% and nice to everyone. Massive well done for guys from bar near by reception, best drinks and super service. Location really good due to Marcadana shop on front of the hotel. There is a beach nearby about 20 min walk but prepare yourself with money and make sure you will have at least €15 to pay for 2 sunbeds sits with umbrella. Take food with you and drinks as there is only 1 bar at the beach. Pf course bar is 3rd party and not part of all inclusive. However you can pay in bar by using card. All sun don't have cash point and if you need monies go to hotel go to Princess Hotel. Princess Hotel is on the way to the beach. Enjoy your stay and lovely cats!

although we had specifically asked for a room NOT on the street site, this was exactly what we got. But since it was at a dead end, we didn't had much trouble with this. The check in was well prepared on forehand by the front desk employees. Although we were with 31 people at once, check in was done in a minute. The rooms were big with a seperate bedroom and living room. The balcony had room enough for a table, 2 chairs and a sunlounger. And then there was more room left. The mattrasses were good. Only problem was the bed for the 3/4 person in the living room. They had to sleep on the sofa,which only had a small deck and a wooden bottom. No back can stand that for more than one night. There are better solutions available for a bedsofa. Service was great. Everybody was friendly and every querstion was dealt with directly. Isabel, with her big ad generous smile, made us smile ourselves at every meal. The all inclusive concept was more then sufficient. The was plenty ofchoice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maybe not always really hot, but cooked properly. And enough variation. For drinking even cocktails, whiskey, rum, baileys (all local brands) etc were included. The beach was rocky, but for us this was a plus. We love to snorkle and fishes prefer a rocky bottom. 300 mtr to the right, a sandy beach is available. 200 mtr to the left it was even more rocky. Hundreds of fish had their feeding ground there. The complex is al german. Everybody of the staff speaks it. All animation is performed by germans. I even think they almost took over the whole of Fuerteventura. As we speak German this was only convenient for us. Highlights of the Island where the sanddunes at Coralejo and the caves at Ajuy.. Just rent a car for one or two days and and you can explore the whole Island.

We had a pleasant stay at Barlovento all in all. On the positive side there is friendly staff and clean rooms, the entire estate was recently refurbished. The beach right in front of the hotel is calm and clean. The hotel is clearly a family friendly place for (literally) all generations. All inclusive food is mostly good. In walking distance there is almost everything Fuerteventura has to offer, the west-coast is an hour walk away and a great sight. On the negative side there is the pool which is a bit tiny, there is no garden area at all. The beverages, especially alcohol, are a real let down (as often in all-inc hotels). The in-house entertainment was low budget and ok in that sense, however Costa Calma offers a variety of better alternatives. The WIFI was a laugh, and had to be paid for even. If going to Barlovento - get local mobile SIM or use data roaming. If you are looking for family friendly, great value for little money holidays and if you are german speaking (luckily we are, in that sense) then this is a great choice. Make sure you book a "suite" there, as close to the beach as possible. It will be less noisy ;)

Firstly animation team is a one big mistake ,they don't do nothing if i compare their job to the hotels where i have been..You can expect that will be one activity on the pool mainly aqua gym or volleybal and in the evening show only in german.One show on Friday is in english because of Kristy (saxophon) she speaks only in english and spanish. That's everything what you can expect. And wait on Saturday animation team have a spare time so you will be watching movie (James Bond and Kac Vegas)..i have no words for the enterteinment there.Secondly food is delicious,you can enjoy every meal ! And the service is also very good ,spanish people are always very nice,positive people and helpful to the guest.Rooms are specious and clean.The beach is also wonderful but you have to remember to take a special shoes to the sea beacuse of the stones.Literally too much german with children.
