Arena Castillo Apartments

Family of 4 - 2 children age 8 & 12. We stayed in room 1202, a family room, this was perfect. A bedroom for us with an en-suite and a sofa bed for the children with their own bathroom, brilliant having 2 bathrooms, along with a Kitchen & dining area and balcony with pool view. The hotel is modern and very clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The entertainment team, Maria & Alba are great and full of energy, they do games around the pool all day - darts, shuffleboard, play your cards right, bingo etc for all the family with prizes of free cocktails & ice creams. No towels were on the sunbeds until around 10am but you could get beds all day. Brilliant and no getting up early for sunbed wars. Pool is slightly heated with a pool bar serving pizza, burger, chips & amazing ice creams (Kit Kat, Oreo, caramel cookie). All very reasonably price. Ice creams €2.50, cocktail €7. Pool toilets are clean all day. The sun loungers have the sun on all day long. The lady working the pool bar is lovely and friendly. The Arena Rock bar had entertainment every night, a great venue. There are lots of bars and restaurants just outside the hotel and a very short walk into the town. A couple of minute walk to the beach where you can book all sorts of trips - jet ski, boats, swim with sealions. There is a Hiper Dino opposite the hotel to stock up on, there is a fridge and small freezer in the room and TV where the sofa bed is.

This hotel is superb. Very clean and friendly staff. This is our 10th time to the island and I have to say this is the best hotel by miles. Really enjoyed our stay.

WOW WOW WOW We had such an amazing time at the Arena Castillo Hotel we came home & 3 weeks later were back again!! The location is perfect with only a short stroll to the beach. There are bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel & only 10 minutes from the centre of Caleta De Fuste. There is a Hippo Dino supermarket literally across the road which is open until 10pm. The apartments are extremely spacious & everything you would need is supplied. We were greeted at reception by the lovely Giancarlo who gave us the opportunity of freshening up after the long flight by using the changing room as our room wasn't quite ready. I can honestly say the room was absolutely immaculate & provided us with a shower, sink, toilet, towels, soap, shampoo & hairdryer. We were really happy with our apartment which looked onto the pool & had an enormous balcony. The amination team were brilliant if you wanted to join in with the activities so a MASSIVE shout out to Maria, Alvera (So very sorry if I have spelt her name wrong) and also the lovely lifeguard. The cleaning staff were so very friendly and did a marvellous job not only of the rooms but keeping the beautiful "chill out" areas & walkways clean. In my opinion these guys are worth their weight in gold. We stayed self catering but the guests we spoke to who had breakfast included said the food was excellent & the pool bar provided snacks & drinks at very reasonable prices. On our way out one evening we reported the toilet seat being loose & the front door a little hard to close. Giancarlo reported it immediately & on our return they had both been attended too. So another big shout out to the maintenance team. The sports bar at the front of the hotel was fantastic however we struggled to get a seat a few times, probably because the entertainment was so very good haha I honestly struggle to think of something negative to say about this hotel except the Wifi was a bit hit & miss. Hopefully we will be returning in the very near future

We booked last minutes as a family of three and the Arena Castillo did not disappointe. All the staff are hardworking and dedicated to making this hotel and your stay as comfortable and pleasurable for you. Rooms and facilities are clean and modern and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff from house keeping to reception. The entertainment team are fantastic ( Maria and Alba ) and are a credit to the hotel keeping everyone entertained on a daily basis. If you are looking for a cheeky week away in a gem of a hotel you will not be disappointed by choosing the Arena Castillo.

Great venue. Central location with loads of shops, restaurants and near sea front but not noisy. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the guy on reception. Lovely apartment, spacious with good facilities, spotless, daily cleaning service and towels changed. Lovely outdoor and pool area with great lounger pods. Would definitely book again however a few niggly things which would make it even better! - only 2 chairs on the private patio area but there were 3 of us (and apartment sleeps up to 4) so had to keep moving chairs in and out from kitchen area which was a pain. Loungers on the patio would have been nice if you don't want to go to the pool, asked but told not possible. Need a shelf in the bathroom, there is nowhere to put stuff except tiny space on the sink. WiFi was a bit unreliable. Even so would book again and would recommend.
