Arena Castillo Apartments

Really nice hotel. Rooms really clean and modern. Lovely heated pool. Roof terrace stunning with really nice comfy sunbeds and hot tub hire. The entertainment bit is t finished yet but you can get drinks on the roof terrace.

We are currently staying at these lovely apartments. Staff are all fabulous. Our apartment has a large lounge area, separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed and we have access to the balcony from both the lounge and bedroom. The cleaners do a great job. Location is perfect. Just a short walk to the seafront promenade and a short walk to some lovely restaurants. Definitely recommend Fado Steak House. The leg of lamb there was amazing. The hotel is very quiet at night, plenty of sunbeds, although there are not that many guests currently staying here. The only negative for us is the music being played around the pool. It's often club music, rather than just relaxing background music which we prefer when just wanting to chill and relax at a pool. Other than that, we'd highly recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel that has recently undergone a quality refurbishment . The rooms are spotless with large comfortable beds and plentiful hot water. Every member of staff was cheerful and helpful. Breakfasts are good quality and freshly cooked to order. The coffee is poor but typical of Canarian hotels. Plentiful all new sun-beds and numerous sunbathing locations around the site with a policy (enforced) to prevent reservation with towels. The only negative is that, whilst the location is central, it is very close to the main strip of downmarket bars for the town - out of earshot but a rather depressing site as you leave the hotel. There are much nicer bars and restaurants a short walk away around the marina and bay.

Excellent hotel and have already booked to go back. Hopefully prices won’t become too expensive. Staff very friendly & efficient, housekeeping very good. Pool & roof terrace areas top notch (plenty of beds). Rooms are large and well equipped. One small whinge, perhaps more clothes storage )plenty of room). Will be my first choice anytime I go back to Caleta as long as still reasonably priced.

From the moment we arrived until the day we departed we enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. It was a prompt check in with the ease of directions to where our room was. A welcome drink on arrival. On entering the apartment it was very clean beautifully decorated a chocolates on the bed the balcony had a table & 2 chairs. I emailed prior to arrival asking for a sunny balcony that was even accommodated we had the sun from morning till sunset. The only aspect of our stay that if we could have changed the rooftop bar was only open from 5pm. The kitchen had a dishcloth fairy washing up liquid & a tea towel. All around this complex was kept exceptionally clean. There are hot tubs for hire €20 per hour around the complex. Shower gel and hand wash in the bathrooms. Out of 10 score for housekeeping I would probably give 7 only I had to ask for the lady ti sweep & mop the floors & the balcony. We had clean towels everyday bin emptied& beds made all daily. I would Highly Recommend anybody to stay here. No sunbed wars lovely pool area for children as there was also pool for adults we only used the pool bar once for food the club sandwich was huge & delicious also the chicken strips were delicious.
