Arena Castillo Apartments

From arriving at receptions to nice friendly and helpful staff our apartment was decorated lovely had all the equipment we needed. A very comfortable bedroom with a very comfortable bed. A good night sleep was hard. The pool area was very well maintained spotlessly, clean with plenty of sun beds and some umbrellas available. the arena rock bar very well decorated beautiful food at a reasonable price as where the drink drinks. The location of this hotel is excellent towards the beach and restaurants and nightlife area but it’s a very quiet area would recommend this hotel to anybody and we had a very enjoyable 10 days in this hotel and hope to be returning again next year

Wow what a fantastic hotel. Location could not be any better, right in the centre of everything, but no noise when you are trying to sleep. Very comfortable huge beds, and the rooms are fantastic, very spacious, two bathrooms. The staff in reception could not do enough for you and rescued me on more than one occasion. There was good entertainment in the evening in the bar area, which was open to the public. We used the hot tubs on rooftop area a couple of times. The hotel is spotless, should really be a 5 star.

Arrived late Sunday night .glad 2 bottles of water in fridge for a drink.check in ok.The room was a superior upgrade and it's the nicest room we have stayed in.However our balcony was unusable because a generator gave off a humming noise all the time. After 3 nights we received a questionaire from hotel regarding our holiday experience. We were honest about our balcony and my wife is a light sleeper and is was affecting our quality of sleep. By teatime the same day we received a phonecall from reception to view another room.Theygave us the best room in hotel as a free upgrade for the next 6 days what an excellent response from hotel team.It turned our holiday into an enjoyable one.Thakyou.sports bar good and rooftop bar area good as well.

The hotel is in a great location. A short walk to bars and restaurants. The rooms are of high quality. And spacious. There is a good atmosphere around the hotels bars n pool area. The rooms are cleaned daily.

We returned yesterday from a fantastic stay at the Arena Castillo. We had originally booked another hotel located nearby but decided to change to this hotel and I am so glad we did. On arrival, check-in was great and our room was ready for us. We did arrive quite late so it was nice to be able to just put our bags in. The room itself was absolutely perfect for us. We had a second floor room with a pool view and we were given one with a large balcony. Other couples in our party had third floor pool view rooms, which seemed smaller but perfect for just two people. The rooms were modern and were spotlessly clean. We had cleaning done every day. We loved our rainfall shower in the bathroom! Big shout out to the wonderful Lucia, our regular cleaner who worked tirelessly and was a joy to have a conversation with in Spanish/ Portuguese. The complex itself was fabulous. Whilst not being massive, it doesn’t need to be for us, there are plenty of amenities. Every day there were events at the pool, there is a gym, hot tubs for an additional fee, and a fantastic rooftop bar, the Arena Rock, which is attached to the hotel. We aren’t really people who spend all day by the pool, but when we did fancy a few hours there were always beds available. I absolutely loved lay on the rattan egg beds, like mini cabanas, in the quiet area set back from the pool They were so comfortable with their bedding and pillows! If you have smaller children there is a decent kids pool with activities. Staff are brilliant at the Arena Castillo. As mentioned previously, Lucia, our cleaner, was fantastic, as was all the reception staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble so massive thank you to everyone at the hotel. We went self catering and couldn’t work out how to use the induction hobs and someone came up to show us. Customer service is excellent. As mentioned before, we went self catering so can’t comment on the food, but because of its excellent location, there are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and a supermarket just across the street. We loved the location here. Everything was within walking distance, yet very quiet location. Overall, we had a fabulous stay and if I return to Caleta de Fuste, which I will do at some point, I will definitely be staying here. Thank to everyone at the Arena Castillo flr an amazing 2 weeks!
