Nice modern apartments. Shame aircon is only in bedrooms of some of the apartments. Service is poor rooms not cleaned in week stay . More staff needed to cover bar in pool area for longer periods . Great location and views . Reception staff also excellent. Mostly Spanish or German families in this resort which we liked and no race for sun beds as a lovely quiet sitting area with jacuzzi. Shame people do not read sign and shower before use . Children also not allowed but are told off by the lifeguard if using this. Morro Jable is a stunning resort with lots of lovely restaurants. Just don’t expect lots of pubs .This is a laid back resort, we did love Janet’s music bar and bar by Italian in town . Excellent music for two nights and the music on stage was great for the Spanish festival week . Stunning beach and walk to town also lovely beach bars and lots of little restaurants in the old town. Repeat also felt safer than other Canary Islands .

We have just returned home from a 7 night stay at the Servatur Alameda De Jandia and have to say it is a nice hotel. But there are a few issues we think you should be aware of. (A) On check in we were told the room would be serviced every 3 days, ie bed linen changed, towels changed, room cleaned. It was not serviced on the 3rd day so we waited until the 4th day, it still never received a service. We contacted reception and they agreed it should not have been missed, gave us clean towels and told us the would contact housekeeping to get the room serviced. It was never serviced in the 7 nights of our stay depite informing reception numerous times........ we gave up in the end. (B) On the 4th day of our stay, some sort of chemical spillage occured in the pool area. We can only assume it came from the machines used to clean the pool area? We do not know what the chemial was but it burned my feet and also the feet of my wife, it also stained our personal pool towels. an expensive pair of Fit Flops and a pair of sliders yellow (I had to throw away the Fit Flops as they burned my feet every time I put them on thereafter) I informed the socarista and he proceded to sweep it down the drain! (Down the drain of a swimming pool??) I again informed reception, to be told again "I will inform my colleage". It was never cleaned. It was a chemical spillage for pities sake, it should have been barriered off and deep cleaned. This is certainly a major issue that needs to be taken further. (C) There is no socarista on Saturday, Sunday and Monday and parents were letting children run amok in and around the pool area. This is not directly a hotel problem but maybe a 2nd socarista should be employed to cover the days unattended before someone gets seriously injured or worse? Location is good with shopping, bars and restaurants around the area.

The rooms are perfect and spacious, the atmosphere is excellent, but the amenities are average (one elevator for eight floors of rooms). Plus, they charge you for drinks even if you have dinner included. The location is good, and the staff is often friendly. The view of the sea is perfect. The pool, however, is not very big and is often crowded.
