Apartments Cordial Magec Taurito

The Cordial Magec is a modern, attractive Aparthotel on the edge of the small resort of Taurito. It’s exceptionally clean and well maintained with a relaxed and friendly vibe. Our one bedroom apartment was a good size with a big balcony, large bathroom with walk-in shower and a nice living space with a small well equipped kitchenette. We stayed on a half board basis and the quality of the buffet food at breakfast and diner was very good, however, options for vegetarians were limited as despite plenty of fresh fruit and salad, most main meals were meat or fish. The pool area is quite big with a large main pool and a toddlers paddling pool. It’s gated off when not open, ensuring guests can’t get up at the crack of dawn, throw a towel over their preferred seats and ‘reserve’ a sun lounger before everyone else. It also has a pool side bar serving drinks and snacks at reasonable prices during the day and drinks until 10.30pm in the evening. There’s no evening entertainment and as a result the hotel is very quiet, perfect for those wanting a bit of peace and tranquillity. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from Taurito, a small resort made up of other hotels, a few shops, cafes and bars, with just enough things to keep you occupied during your holiday, including a water park, mini golf course, discotheque, spa and a nice beach with water sports and boat trips. I would definitely recommend the Cordial Magec if you want a quiet holiday, it’s a lovely hotel, tastefully decorated with friendly staff and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

This hotel that is located next to Playa Taurito is amazing with an atmosphere of calm and peace. The rooms are very clean because of daily cleans (except for Thrusday and Sunday) and the beds are comfy enough. There is no molds or anything dirty with the room. It’s perfect for a family of 4 holiday or even by yourself or 2 people. The best part is the massive pool with many sun beds around it and a small pool that’s slightly heated for the little ones. While the restaurant isn’t so good it still is good enough for such a small hotel.

Stayed end of July in to August. We had the most wonderful holiday. We are a family of 4 my eldest child is 11 and autistic so we are always looking for somewhere family friendly, yet still quiet. This was perfect. Clean, modern apartments just a walk away from the beach. The walk is not long but you can cut it down, by taking some rather rocky steps and going under a bypass to make it quicker. We stayed half board and the food was lovely my very picky son always found something to eat. My youngest tried allsorts of new foods. We would go back tomorrow if we could afford too.

A lovely little hotel with equally lovely staff, literally everyone from the reception to the lifeguards. The rooms are clean and well kept, plenty spacious and comfortable. Modern smart TVs to keep the kids happy. Pictures on the website are a good likeness to reality. No sun-bed nonsense at the pool with plenty to go around whether you prefer full sun or full shade. The pool itself never got too busy, was nicely heated, and long enough to get a proper swim in when it’s quieter. Not a huge choice at the buffet, but all well cooked and chips for the kids. This is the trade off for the many benefits that come with being one of the smaller hotels on the islands of course, but if a huge buffet choice is important to you this probably isn’t the hotel for you .

Cordial is simply the best Hotel and Apartments Resort company on the Canarias. Quality from start to finish. Very professional staff, no doubt.
