Apartments Cordial Magec Taurito

A lovely little hotel with equally lovely staff, literally everyone from the reception to the lifeguards. The rooms are clean and well kept, plenty spacious and comfortable. Modern smart TVs to keep the kids happy. Pictures on the website are a good likeness to reality. No sun-bed nonsense at the pool with plenty to go around whether you prefer full sun or full shade. The pool itself never got too busy, was nicely heated, and long enough to get a proper swim in when it’s quieter. Not a huge choice at the buffet, but all well cooked and chips for the kids. This is the trade off for the many benefits that come with being one of the smaller hotels on the islands of course, but if a huge buffet choice is important to you this probably isn’t the hotel for you .

Cordial is simply the best Hotel and Apartments Resort company on the Canarias. Quality from start to finish. Very professional staff, no doubt.

The hotel was clean, modern and had spacious rooms. The balcony was big, although had little shade at lunchtime. The pool area was a good length, clean, plenty of sunbeds throughout the day, could be a little noisy at times depending on larger groups. There was a quiet green area away from the pool with sunbeds too. The lifeguards were attentive and friendly. The food at the pool bar was better than expected and not standard hotel food. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The cleaning was really good and frequent. Pictures on the website are an accurate representation of the hotel. The location itself is something to consider as there are no nice restaurants within in walking distance and the beach nearby is black sand. You need to get a bus or taxi to Puerto Rico and Mogan (the road is shut so takes a lot longer than expected to get to Mogan). The bus and taxi ranks are 5 min walk away down a sandy hill track. We would recommend eating at Que Bien in Puerto Rico, and I love Mogan in Mogan.

Apartments were spacious new and clean. As a family of 3 adults the sofa bed in the lounge was pretty uncomfortable perhaps best suited for a child. Pool area was quiet when we arrived but after a few days got rather busy. The staff had been opening up the area before 10 meaning harder to find loungers together. Area is very quiet. 15 minute walk to the beach with a couple of restaurants and 10 minutes to a supermarket for basics. Taxi around 13 euros to go to nearby towns. A lovely chilled break which was what we wanted. Would return

Sat on the balcony having my morning coffee. We are elated we chose these apartments! They are big, very modern and the whole complex is immaculate. The staff have been amazing to us as I have some parcels arriving from the uk with medical equipment in. We are self catering and the bar food is lovely. The lady at the bar has been so friendly to the kids too. The pool is gorgeous & no fighting for sunbeds. A lifeguard who is friendly is watching each day too. The area isn’t great for eating out there’s a few restaurants but the beach is a short walk away and shops / stuff to do. Also not far to other areas. We honestly cannot fault this hotel and will definitely be returning thank you :)
