H10 Costa Mogan

We love this hotel. The people here are amazing. The staff you can't find anywhere else. We had a fabulous A La Carte. Best way to spend our last night where we were served by 3 lovely servers named Toni, Begonia and Xionara. The meal was exquisite and service can't be beat. They truly made our night rememberable. Emi, is the person that made us come back, never met a friendly, kinder sweet hearted person ever. Frank is the friendliest pool bar cook who made us feel like part of his family, 💗🫶 Yanet, awesome server, always smiling with great vibs, & drink skills. Amazing activities gentleman keeps you engaged, and the phenomenal Brain Pablo bartender made Hotel 10 grand canaries Morgan the best resort to go to. It's the staff that makes it amazing and phenomenal. Because of them we have come back multiple times. Also we are from Canada that is a 21hr flight to get here showing that it's beyond worth it.

Enjoyed a first rate meal at Costa Morgan’s Fusion restaurant last night. Service impeccable Begoua,Toni,Arrait and Miguel. Chicken +Fois Gras and a rare to medium ribeye. Perfectly presented. Great atmosphere well worth a visit.

Hotel is situated in a pleasant bay in a quiet area with very little in the way of bars and restaurants. Buses are available nearby if you wish to visit other areas such as Puerto de Mogan. The approach is very attractive as is the lobby. Outside areas kept meticulously clean by the early morning staff. On arrival, I expected a welcome drink which wasn't forthcoming. I was a little late to eat at the buffet and the apple, yogurt and dried sandwich substitute in my room was very poor. Room was clean and spacious, good hairdryer and amenities, housekeeping of high standard. Thank you. Buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner in the basement. Very warm in there at times and sadly, I found that the food was not up to the average of a 4* Spanish hotel. Dried up pasta, tough meat, strange combinations. Fish was slightly better. Desserts were plentiful as was the cheese. Very few staff on hand to offer help with wine etc. As the vast majority of guests are all inclusive and are able to help themselves to certain wines there is far less personal service. Had no idea who the restaurant manager was or if there even was one. This also applies to all managers. Certainly not visible. I never saw one. I upgraded to "Privilege" to take advantage of the quieter sun lounge area. This also provided upgraded amenities in my room, bottle of cava, minibar with soft drinks and water replenishment. Access was permitted to the Privilege lounge which was lovely. Premium drinks, coffee, small selection of snacks. Great, cool area to relax. Very comfortable. As a previous reviewer has said, promotional filming took place over a couple of days without any apology for inconvenience. Given that the sunbeds in that area are limited it was very disappointing to see that four were reserved for the whole of one day and guests were asked to move. Not acceptable, I'm afraid. The Costa Fusion restaurant is a la carte and offers three courses as well as welcome bread and olives, etc. I enjoyed the food and it was a definite step up from the buffet. Book in if you can (it's included with Privilege). This hotel does appear to appeal to large groups and there is regular day time entertainment. During the week I was there it did get very noisy in the evening and continued after the bar had closed at midnight. Unfortunately for me, my room was directly above the bar and it wasn't possible to relax on my balcony and I struggled to sleep even with earplugs. If you are seeking peace and quiet then you will be well advised to look elsewhere. Thank you to Gabriele and Jenni on reception who were very helpful at all times. This hotel has great potential, particularly in view of the roof top space. Thus could be fabulous in the evening with comfortable booths and lighting but at the moment it's a damp squib. Also surprised that there is a gym but no spa. Overall, an enjoyable week but I wouldn't return as the hotel just wasn't for me but I'm sure lots of guests love it.

Just back from a week here ,we chose half board with privilege level. Areas of the hotel look smart and have comfortable furnishings ,giving an adults only 4* vibe. A third of the building is an apartment complex called Acura marina 2 even though it looks like the same hotel, children are allowed there not that it bothered us just a little strange set up. Room was well presented and clean, house keeping staff really lovely. Restaurant is at basement level and gets very warm. Large variety of food that didn’t really work together ,cooked meats tough or raw in the middle. The hot food was mostly luke warm and the cold food was not chilled but just room temperature.The Costa Fusion restaurant isn’t really any better never had an experience of having to order 3 courses before being asked if we wanted drinks , food wasn’t anything different to the buffet restaurant. Food at the pool bar was awful. Privilege level lounge was a beautiful space with excellent selection of soft drink ,wines and spirits.Crisps, nuts and sweets also good and regularly filled up. They put croissants and pastries in one of the chillers and don’t cover them so they are rock hard which was a shame .Again on the afternoon they bring small savoury sandwiches which are left uncovered so go hard and inedible. Evening entertainment was way too loud hit and miss quality wise, definitely not my cup of tea, finishes around 11 . The noise level in all the rooms is awful we thought about asking to move but having experienced a room a little further away it was just the same. Music at the pool was awful and way too loud and not just at exercise time. Loads of other entertainment throughout the day , darts, axe throwing, bingo, archery you name it they did it all very load and all taking place right next to the privilege area sun beds or in the privilege eating area, and yes the darts and the axes hit the first two sunbeds! We had to endure 2 days of some sort of promo photoshoot which wasn’t good. A area you had paid to use closed off or multiple beds in the privilege area reserved by them for filming.Not conducive to a relaxed stay. They were inconsiderate to say the least. I was in the hot tub plunge pool chatting with two other guests only for the lady to hand a guest her drink and ask us to move as we were in the way of their shots. My husband was sat in the sun at the side of the pool attempting to block the activity out and read however they decided they needed the umbrella up where he was as the sun was too much for their shot, never asked just did it. Later the size 6 young model needed to be filmed walking in to the hot tub over and over again so you guested it we all had to move again. My husband went to the gym on the second morning but no they were filming so had to wait another 40 minutes, everything on their time never mind our not so relaxing holiday time. Same again when getting a drink in the privilege lounge they wanted to film so the guests had to move. I’m sure some people love this hotel but it’s definitely not for me . I can’t decide what this hotel wants to be or who their target market is, I’d say the majority of guests were between 40-75 definitely not size 6 models , no offence ! I’ve visited other adults only H10 and had wonderful relaxing enjoyable holidays . To me this is a 3* all inclusive trying to be something else. We escaped to a lovely little beach bar for tapas and a chill , shame it didn’t have rooms !
