HD Parque Cristobal Gran Canaria

We have just got back from a week long stay. 3 adults and a 3 year old. We were self catering and kitchen area was adequate however the two ring hob only really lets you use one ring at a time else cuts out. Not a major problem and can work round it. Entertainment on the whole was good but a lot of the shows were mimed 🤷‍♀️ Entertainment ends too early and same as bar closing early. Someone asked one of the entertainers why there could be no music after entertainment finishes and they said because of young children round the entertainment area people would complain? On the flip side of that there was a woman at reception complaining of too much noise as her room near the children’s pool ( sorry but didn’t hold my tongue and told her shouldn’t come to family hotel if doesn’t like kids playing and should maybe dig deeper into her pockets for adult only in future 🙈?) Both the above issues could be solved though if they used the far side by children’s pool for families with say under 8 then noise from any later entertainment would not disturb them and keep area closest to entertainment for adult only visitors and families with older children where noise not an issue. Also that would keep any adult only visitors furthest from “kid’s” pool area. Simple planning but deffo needs a bit longer entertainment even background music as no atmosphere 🤷‍♀️ Reception always helpful and rooms always well cleaned. Had a fab time x

Went for husband 70th and 30th wedding anniversary. Lovely Bungalow, disappointed that you have to pay to use the safe deposit box. The complex was clean and staff friendly, paid extra for a celebration package which was good but only received a slip of paper saying happy birthday and happy anniversary from the Guest Service little disappointed but if it was not a celebration then would be adequate value as it was very relaxing. Good Value for money as it very close to other amenities.

Just back from an 11 night stay in the 2 bedroom apartment. Traveled with my wife, 4 year old and 3 year old and had a wonderful time. Having the onsite supermarket was great but the yumbo centre and other shops are close by if they didn’t have what you are looking for. Hotel Plenty to do with 2 pool areas and arcades. There table tennis and football fields you can use which were always quiet. Both pools also have a small play park for the kids for a change. Location Plenty of places to go that are all within walking distance. If you go out the main reception door and walk to the bottom of the road, you are pretty much at the yumbo centre. If you go out from the supermarket end and turn right, there are restaurants and bars out there. The beach is about a €5 taxi away with loads of places to eat and drink. Room The room was pretty ideal as it was between the 2 pools and near enough to reception and the entertainment, but still far enough away to not hear it at night times. They are plenty big enough and pretty well stocked with utensils for cooking and eating. It could have used with a bit bigger fridge but apart from that, it was great. Having the terrace was a big help for us. Air-con in every room which was also a real plus as it was extremely hot. Pools Really well looked after and were kept nice and warm. You can take tins around the pool but no glass which keeps things nice and safe. The splash park was good but our kids rarely went in it and were more interested in the big slide at the main pool. Food We were self catering so can’t comment too much but the grab and go food was pretty good, could have maybe used with a few more options but the portion sizes were generous. If you order a hot dog and fries, you get 2 hot dogs to give you an idea of the portions. Overall the hotel was pretty well equipped and maybe there are a couple of things that could be improved. Trying to find a table at the entertainment wasn’t always easy but we didn’t go much. We loved our time here and will definitely look to return.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. Absolutely loved it. Thank you to Daniel, Keider and Aco. I would strongly recommend it. If you can afford it, you should go with Emblem rooms, but all other rooms and buffet service were also great.
