Good points: 1. Air conditioning in bedroom 2. Buffet breakfast with lots of choice 3. Reception staff are helpful 4. Very close to the sea/beach Not so good: - Air conditioning is nowhere else in the hotel. The reception and dining room areas are ridiculously hot making it very uncomfortable for using. - There is also no air conditioning in the main room of the apartment (literally just the bedroom). - LOTS of artex and dark mahogany 😂 it’s like a 70s throwback - Pool is only open from 11am which seems mad when the sun is already up and beaming by 8.30am - Everything is either up or down flights of stairs. An absolute disaster if you have poor mobility. - Evening buffet in the restaurant has a school dinner vibe. I definitely would not book it for the whole week which they try to get you to do when you check in. - No late checkout option (standard midday applies) so if you have an evening or night flight you’re stuck. You can use the pool but they have no courtesy rooms for a shower/change of clothes despite being willing to pay! - Everything shuts down at 9. Literally there is no evening bar or social area in the complex. The pool bar would be a super space for this but they open between 10 and 6 each day (although there is happy hour twice each day with 50% off the second drink). The apartments themselves are clean but dated and tired (paint peeling, skirtings loose, flooring cracked). Equipment is budget stuff and frequently doesn’t work properly. Not nearly enough plug sockets. One for the kitchen (either kettle or toaster!) and one each side of the balcony doors. I personally wouldn’t go again but if you’re after cheap and cheerful (think 70s Benidorm 😂) and don’t mind hills and steps then you’ll likely love it!

Here at the moment. My 3rd visit to Gran Canaria as a solo traveller. My 1st to this hotel. Positives- the rooms are spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfy and the shower is amazing. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom. I have a ground floor apartment - perfect for sitting on the patio and great access to the pool and bar. Nice touch that there was a bottle of fizzy wine and a bottle of water in my room on arrival. There is a gate that leads to the beaches. Nearest one has a few beach bars and Anfi is walkable. Great bus links to other local areas. Pool is lovely and plenty of sunbeds. Negatives - there is literally no atmosphere. Nothing in the evening. No entertainment at all. Piano bar - again no atmosphere and I had to go via the restaurant to order drinks. Food - very average for half board. Very small buffet selection. Drinks are extra and can be added to your room. Cocktails are ok - around 8€ each. Staff - do their job but lack personality. I waited 20 minutes for a glass of wine when other tables that were seated after me got their drinks straight away. I did complain but no one was actually bothered. There is a shop on site but closes at 7pm during the summer so if you have a later arrival there are 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk.

Very well situated, very clean, staff lovely Pablo in the pool bar is lovely The view of the sea from our balcony was amazing and sunsets We did ask at reception if we could keep the room as we don't leave until 3.30, you have to leave your room at 12, but they said they didn't have one they were full , I did look on their Web page and they were still advertising vacant rooms.

We asked when we checked in if we could have an apartment with seaview and the reseptionist confirmed that we had seaview. We did not get what she promised. We only saw the pool. She told us that the hotel was full so we could not change the room, but when we checked at internet there was rooms with seaview available. She lied to us and that is not okey. The rooms are nice.

Had an absolutely fantastic time here. The whole experience from check in to check out was perfect for us. The hotel is located in Patalavaca between Arguineguin and Anfi Del Mar, the area is very quiet so if you want a lively area then this isn't for you, it was perfect for us. We had a premium room with a sea view that was to die for. The resort is bathed in sunshine from morning to night with the room balconies benefiting from the afternoon sunshine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool bar serves a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and they also offer an extensive range of food options which can be eaten by the bar or taken away to your The pool is a good size but could be open longer (closes at 7pm) The hotel is short walk (20 minutes) along the coast to Anfi Del Mar where there is a range of restaurants and bars. A bus service a few minutes walk from the hotel takes you pretty much anywhere you want to go. We took a trip to Mogan (about 35 minutes away and for 2 the return fare was €7. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone wanting a relaxing break in a quiet area away from all the noise of the island nightlife.
