Tivoli Apartments

We just walked in from the street and managed to get an apartment. It was a bit worn. When it was windy we had to put some paper in the entrance door stopping it from rattling. During the day buses and trucks passed by all the time making it a bit noisy to spend time at the balcony. In the evenings it was ok. We found the mattresses too hard but we were supplied with extra top mattresses from IKEA solving that problem. Fine restaurants close by and also a short walk to the beach. We stayed 17 days, leaving February 5th, and the main complaint would be the traffic noise.

We booked and paid for this accommodation in October 2012 for our holiday which was 14th to 28th January. We arrived at the Tivoli on the 14th January to met by a lady who informed us that the Tivoli had been over booked and we were going to be sent to the Green Ocean but it was not in Playa del ingles.I am writing another review for the Green Ocean believe me you do not want to go there. You have been warned ,from now on i will only book through well known high street travel agents who have reps on hand.Our holiday was ruined and no one took any resposibility.

When We arrived at Tivoli we were told our room was not ready as they were having it refurbished. They moved us to another apartment just on the other corner of the road. It was clean and well furnished. It was ideally located to all amenties and all the centre are in walking distance once you know where you are going. The maid service was very good and i would defo stay there again but wish they would put a fence around the pool to have a little privacy to stop people walking past looking in.
