Paradisus by Melia Salinas Lanzarote

We absolutely love this hotel and will keep coming back! The rooms are clean, fresh, comfortable and well equipped, with lovely sea views. The restaurants are excellent, and the food and drinks are always of a great standard. El Gracios in the evening is absolutely first class - slecial thanks to Michael and Tony. The staff are amazing and always make us feel so welcome, remembering us and making us feel at home every time we return. We would definitely recommend upgrading to The Reserve for that extra touch of luxury and a more premium experience. Soecial thanks in particularto Carina and Paula and the lovely team in reserve pool bar - Carol Delgardo anx Hamza There is always plenty to enjoy, from the beautiful pool areas to the entertainment and activities.I have particularly enjoyed the jewellery-making, candle-making and coffee workshops. Soraya and Darleiyne you really brightened our day. I wish I could mention every member of staff because tbh they all deserve a mention. Atmosphere in the Ginger bar at night is great with some good entertainment However , special shout out Marcus and Francisco who have taken such good care of us these past few years. We are already looking forward to spending Christmas and New Year here again! Thank you to everyone at Paradisus Lanzarote for making our stays so special. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon!

Just returned from Paradisus Salinas, Lanzarote. Couldn’t have wished for a better 10 days away. Hotel is absolutely amazing, very clean & well looked after. Bedrooms are very well equipped & our room had an amazing view offer the ocean. All 6 restaurants offered such amazing food, staff worked extremely hard all the time making sure we had a great experience! The Graciosa team Michael, Sarmite, Toni, Virginia, Xueling & Hamza (hope I haven’t missed anyone off) were very welcoming & knowledgable making our experience that much more enjoyable. Joseph in Gingers Bar always had a smile on his face & always had time to chat even though he was very busy! The activity team Darlyne, Andrea Soraya were great fun who all worked so hard but always stopped to chat even if we didn’t join in the activity, aquagym was great fun, thank you ladies !! To sum our holiday up, we had a great time, staff were absolutely outstanding, food was faultless wherever we ate & we would certainly return, thank you to all staff & management! See you again!!

On arrival at the hotel, we went to check in and was immediately asked if we wanted a room upgrade.  The penthouse for €560 a night on top of the €5,500 I'd already paid.  Then dropped it to €450. Then I was offered the reserve, an upgrade to the reserve for more than a hundred euros a day and you get access to the private area of the hotel.  You get better sunloungers and a smaller pool. Half the activities during the day, you have to pay for. Then there is the Circle - €5,000 a year to join.  This hotel obviously has a business plan to get more money out of people. Putting that aside. The hotel is a nice hotel and was designed by Fernando Higueras and Cesar Manrique. Your room will not be ready until 3pm. TIP - If you have an early flight pack something in your carryon bag, if you want to change into, as you won't get your suitcase until 3pm. The room is very nice, spacious with a balcony, 2 deck chairs.  But know where to hang wet clothes.  There is a mini bar, which is restocked daily. You get slippers, robes, hairdryer, clothes stramer, safe and certain toiletries.  But no toilet brush (which isn't nice). You get fresh pool towels in your room each day. Restaurant's Malva which is the main restaurant which serves up really nice food, but it is a bit the same each day.  We ate out for two nights. The 3 speciality restaurants are all nice.  Italian, Canarian & Middle East. The pool is nice and quiet, but the sun loungers are very basic for a 5* hotel. The walkways around the pool are uneven, so not ideal for people who are unsteady on their feet. The pool is quiet and very relaxing, with a bar, the shack, which has hot and cold drinks, as well as food and ice-cream.  The pool is a salt water pool. Which i quite liked. There is a designated smoking area around the pool. Bar Ginger bar is 24 hours, food and drink Evening entertainment is excellent, really good acts / singers. Beach bar - 20% off all drinks, as it's not part of the hotel. The gym is well equipped, but no air-conditioning or fans. The beach is a mix of sandy parts and rocky parts.  It's a really nice walk if you go out of the hotel and turn right.  Loads of places to eat and drink. Staff are fantastic, very friendly, very helpful.  On day of check-out, if you have a later flight, there are courtesy rooms for you to shower and change, book at reception.

Everything about this beautiful hotel is 1st class, from reception staff, restaurant & bar staff, & the cleaners . The room was wonderful, with everything you needed. Tea & coffee & also the mini bar. Food in the main restaurant was very nice always good choice & always hot. We loved the ginger bar where you could sit & relax & someone would bring you a drink, superb choice there as well. We are looking forward to coming back in January next year.

Paradisus Salinas Meliá is situated around a beautiful bay. On entering the reception area an immediate sense of calm, efficiency and professionalism awaits guests. The rooms are spacious and tranquil. Housekeeping standards are extremely high and the housekeeping staff display a true commitment to their respective roles in every area of the hotel and pool. Service is impeccable, friendly and respectful throughout the hotel. We have been extremely fortunate to meet Myrian, from the Circle team. Myrian is caring, professional and totally attentive to the needs of guests. We cannot praise her highly enough! The animation team provide endless time, energy and enthusiasm towards guests. We were particularly impressed by Darleiyne's relentless cheerful disposition. We would certainly look forward to a return visit. Our thanks and gratitude to all staff members.
