The hotel itself is beautiful, but the location unfortunately let it down for us. The Hotel & Facilities The hotel is modern, beautiful and has a real focus on sustainability and relaxation. There are fresh water fountains throughout the hotel, a lovely rooftop bar, and the maids come in every day. Beach towels are provided on arrival, the safe is free to use, and you can even cast your phone to the TV, which is a great touch. Breakfast was beautiful, with an amazing choice of food. However, we found the dinner options quite limited and not really to our taste, so we ended up eating out quite a lot. Nebula restaurant, just across the road, was absolutely beautiful, with delicious food at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit! The Wallet System The hotel operates a prepaid wallet system, with €210 per person loaded for a week. You can use this for food and drinks throughout the day, whenever you like. Just be aware that any remaining balance expires at 12pm on your checkout day - you can preorder all items for your check out day to use remaining balance. Late Checkout & Shower Facilities We were previously quoted €20 for a late checkout until 2pm or €30 until 4pm, but unfortunately, we couldn’t extend our room until 4pm. There is also a shower room available for €10 per person, which gives you 45 minutes and includes a drink. This is useful if you have a late flight and want to freshen up before heading to the airport. Luggage room is in the lobby - €1 to weigh cases if needed. The Location Unfortunately, this was the biggest downside for us. Although the hotel is marketed as being in Adeje, it is actually located in Callao Salvaje, which I personally feel is a little misleading if you’re expecting to be closer to the main tourist areas. The Callao salvaje area is rather run down with just a handful of shops and restaurants. Getting to Fañabé takes around 40 minutes by bus (the bus stop is near Nebula restaurant) or approximately 15 minutes by taxi. Taxis can be expensive, though, so it’s something to factor into your budget. Walking isn’t really a practical alternative, with the journey taking several hours. Playa de las Américas is even further away. The nearby beach was also disappointing. We expected black sand, but the beach itself felt very run-down and dirty. On the positive side, there are some absolutely beautiful beaches further along towards Playa del Duque, although our taxi there cost around €20. There’s also some building works going on which sometimes was quite annoying but obviously cannot be helped. Overall Verdict MYND is a gorgeous hotel with lovely facilities, a relaxing atmosphere and an excellent breakfast. We really appreciated the sustainability features and the little extras that made the stay feel special. However, if you’re looking for somewhere close to the main resorts, lively areas, beautiful beaches and plenty of things to do within walking distance, the location is something to seriously consider. Overall, a beautiful hotel in the wrong location for us. If you’re happy to relax around the hotel or don’t mind paying for taxis to explore, you may absolutely love it.

This was our third visit to MYND Adeje after previously getting engaged, married and soon to be parents within those visits. The stand out from this hotel is the staff. They genuinely care for their guests to the point of Bianca remembering who we were from previous years and making this trip so special (thank you again Bianca). This trip we had two amazing waiter's Aurelio and Diego who were so nice, always smiling and couldn't do enough for us. The food was again amazing with breakfast having such a wide selection, there wasn't anything left out and a big bonus for me was really good coffee locally sourced from the Canary Islands (good coffee is a must in the morning) The rooms were always spotless, we even got a lovely welcoming gift on arrival. The pool area was nice and relaxed with a mixture of couples and young families, but never too crowded. The rooftop bar and infinity pool are lovely touches especially watching the sunset over a cocktail or beer. The gym located to the side of the building has all the basic equipment you would need to keep your fitness on track and it certainly helped me. All in all another great trip and yes we will be back, which for myself in particular is something I normally wouldn't do as I like to move around, so it says everything about MYND and more importantly the staff, again thank you Bianca for making our trip so special again, see you in 2027.

Wow! What a little gem of a hotel! ☀️❤️ We’ve just returned from a 7-night stay at MYND Adeje, and honestly, we can’t fault it. We’ve stayed in plenty of hotels over the years, but this one really does tick all the boxes. It does exactly what a hotel should do, and does it so well! The rooms are simple, stylish and incredibly relaxing, with daily cleaning. The pool area is spotless, there are plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day, and pool towels are provided. Just perfect for a relaxing break! One of our favourite things was the wallet system, which is such a brilliant idea! We’d definitely recommend going half board. For our 7-night stay, we had €60 per night credited to our phone wallet, giving us €420 to spend throughout the hotel. You set your own PIN on arrival, and then you can use your credit however you like, whether that’s towards dinner, drinks around the pool or lunch and cocktails on the rooftop. The beauty of it is that if you decide to go out for dinner, your credit is still there to enjoy another time. We loved using ours for drinks by the pool and on the rooftop. It’s such a flexible concept and made the whole experience even better. But what really makes this hotel special are the staff. There’s a genuine team spirit, with everyone clearly taking pride in what they do and helping one another. That really shines through in the service you receive as a guest. Nothing is too much trouble, and everyone makes you feel so welcome. ❤️ The location was ideal for us, too. It’s lovely and peaceful, away from the huge high-rise hotels, but there are still some great local bars and restaurants nearby. We hired a car at the airport, which worked out so much cheaper than relying on taxis and gave us the freedom to pop over to Playa de las Américas or Adeje for a bit of shopping. We hardly used the car most days, but the savings on transfers alone made it worthwhile! We also really enjoyed the weekly wine-tasting and cocktail-making classes. They’re lovely little extras that make the stay feel that bit more special. All in all, MYND Adeje is a real hidden gem. If you’re looking for somewhere relaxed, friendly and a little bit different from the big, busy resort hotels, we honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. We rarely say we’ll return to a hotel, but this one is already on our list for another visit! 🥂☀️ 100% recommend. Get it booked — you won’t be disappointed! ❤️
