The Salmar

We booked a last minute holiday and chose the hotel based on the positive reviews. We booked bed and breakfast. We weren’t disappointed. From the spacious rooms, friendly staff and fabulous breakfast we loved it and will be returning. The decor is beautiful with great attention to detail in the nautical blue and white theme running through the hotel interior and rooms. The rooms are spotless, lovely toiletries, fresh towels and house keeping daily. Nothing too much trouble. Water dispensers on each floor, so remember your water bottles (we didn’t). There is a supermarket nearby and plenty of ‘little England’ bars and restaurants nearby if you want cheaper drinks and food than the hotel offers. You can also walk via a walkway to small fishing village for more local foods and there’s a marina and restaurants in the other direction. You can also eat in the hotel. There is a bar that serves drinks and bar snacks and also a restaurant.

The whole Salmar experience leaves you wondering how your holiday could possibly be improved? From the spacious rooms and brilliant staff, to the exquisite taste in furniture and fittings leave you with the belief everything has been designed for the best experience possible. We are returning in October.

We couldn’t wait to return and we weren’t disappointed. Welcomed, greeted at reception like old friends made us feel really special. Throughout the first few days we met up with familiar faces on the staff and that made our day !! Tania , Miguel & Rosie were old friends and it was really nice to catch up . The interior refit is to a very high standard , as is the new revised outside area. Can’t fault it … didn’t want to leave and hope to return as soon as we can . Thank you to all at The Salmar for another wonderful 10 days . I think it should also be noted that the Company kept on its staff during the refit and in doing so retained the heart of the hotel

This is, without a doubt, the most incredible hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Every single aspect of our visit exceeded expectations. The staff were absolutely outstanding, and I'd like to give a special thank you to Miguel, Rosie and Tania – you are all exceptional and truly made our stay unforgettable. Check-in was seamless from start to finish. The moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with warm smiles, a friendly welcome, and even a complimentary welcome drink. A huge thank you to Elena and Victor for making such a fantastic first impression. Check-out was just as easy, with convenient luggage storage available for guests with later flights. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. From the beautiful reception area to the restaurant and the immaculate rooms, everything is finished to an incredibly high standard. The entire property is spotless, well-maintained, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect. The sea-view rooms are breathtaking, and relaxing on the balcony with the sound of the ocean is something I'll never forget. Every room includes a water jug, with complimentary filtered water stations at the end of each corridor. It was such a thoughtful touch and meant fresh drinking water was always available. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the airport and only a short distance from the town, making it easy to explore local shops and restaurants if you wish. I genuinely would have happily paid three times what I did, knowing the incredible quality of this hotel and the experience it provides. The rooms are wonderfully peaceful – the only sound you'll hear at night is the ocean. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to keep the bar open a little later than 10pm and perhaps add a few filtered water stations on the ground floor for guests relaxing by the pool. These are only minor points in what was otherwise a perfect stay. If I could return tomorrow, I absolutely would. Thank you to everyone for such an unforgettable holiday. I'll be recommending this hotel to everyone I know. It deserves far more than five stars – if I could give it 500 stars, I would. Simply exceptional

What a great location for a luxury hotel. We had an amazing stay at The Salmar in Tenerife and wouldn't hesitate to return. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a luxurious feel throughout, and our room was incredibly comfortable with everything we could possibly need. The balcony and stunning sea views made it even more special. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, with a fantastic selection and high-quality food every morning. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent, with plenty of comfortable sun loungers and seating, so it never felt crowded. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. A special mention goes to Victor on reception, who was so welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A truly relaxing, luxurious hotel in a beautiful setting. We can't wait to come back
