The Salmar

Amazing week away, beautifully refurbished hotel and great facilities. No need to reserve a sunbed, staff so polite and breakfast was lovely. Will definitely be back 👍

The minute we arrived , I felt peace and calm, Victor welcomed us and offered us a welcome glass of fizz … our room was 521 and I can honestly say it was the nicest room we have ever stayed in , the outdoor bath was the icing on the cake Every night Victor made us feel special and I commend him . We did not want our 4 day break to end Thanks

The Salmar is beautifully located and the closeness to the sea makes for a wonderful stay. We were welcomed with cava upon arrival and the emphasis is upon the calm and slowing down. The quiet atmosphere and proximity to Los Abrigos harbour with its range of restaurants make for a peaceful stay. The breakfast has a great range of options and really sets you up for yte day! The staff are all friendly and try their best to give a great holiday. I would recommend the Salmar as a lovely place to stay if you need to escape for a bit!

Our first time staying in this part of Tenerife & The Salmar and we’ve loved every minute. The area is much quieter than the busier Los Christianos and Las Americas but we prefer it that way. However, there are lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity (San Blas) and more a 15 minute walk away to the lovely little fishing town of Los Abrigos or 15 minutes in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, there’s no decent beach in the area. The Salmar is all that we hoped for, indeed we’ve booked to return in January!! Here’s our list of positives:- Lovely, friendly staff. Special mention to Elena, David & Nuria on reception; Miguel in the bar; Christina who looked after our room on the 9th floor. Adults only!! Very stylish bar area which also serves light lunches. Excellent restaurant attached to the hotel (Camarote). Lots of room options (our Suite was lovely & spacious). Breakfast served 8-11 with good variety on the buffet. 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. Boardwalk/promenade right outside the hotel which stretches approximately a mile in each direction. Water cooler on every floor. Little kitchen area in each suite with fridge, coffee maker, kettle & microwave. Excellent WiFi. Pool area can get quite busy but each room has a balcony/terrace.

Sooo close to the airport checked in did an upgrade wow what an amazing experience crisp clean quiet peaceful relaxing everything you need B&b breakfast was amazing especially the 12 cereals bread and poached eggs Jacuzzi every day free of charge Room was amazing two out side beds to sunbath on if you don’t want to go down.. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone…
