Hurawalhi Resort Maldives

We had such a lovely honeymoon at Hurawalhi, and although the resort itself is absolutely beautiful, what really made the stay for us was the people. Our host, Dinara, was absolutely exceptional throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She kept us updated with our itinerary, helped us with bookings and last-minute arrangements, and was always there if we needed anything. She was warm, professional, incredibly accommodating and just genuinely lovely. She made everything feel easy for us and really helped make our honeymoon feel special. We were genuinely sad to say goodbye to her at the end of our stay. Ayu and Barsha at Canneli were also wonderful. Every time we saw them at breakfast, lunch or dinner, they made both my husband and me feel so welcome. Ayu especially was so personable and lovely to talk to, very warm nature. Fazeel, who looked after us at Canneli, was honestly one of the loveliest people we met during our stay. He always greeted us with the warmest smile, was incredibly attentive and professional, and really got to know us and our preferences, even down to the little things. That level of attention made such a difference. He was also just a great person to speak to. By the end of the trip, my husband and I were genuinely so sad to say goodbye to him. We felt very lucky to have had him looking after us, and he is absolutely someone we hope gets recognised for the service he gives. Casmir, the bar manager, was another highlight. He is charismatic, bubbly and welcoming. We did a cocktail-making class with him and had such a good time. My husband and I laughed so much, learnt some proper techniques behind making cocktails and really enjoyed the whole experience. He made it so much fun, and he also makes a fantastic cocktail!! The food throughout our stay was exceptional. Harshal, the Executive Chef, was someone we had the pleasure of speaking to quite a lot, and he would often check in with us to make sure we were enjoying everything. A huge amount of credit also has to go to the entire kitchen and front-of-house team because we genuinely did not have a bad meal during our stay. Everything we ate was fresh, full of flavour, beautifully cooked and consistently high quality across breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also visited the underwater restaurant, which is definitely a must-visit if you come to Hurawalhi. We really appreciated the effort made by G, the Resort Manager, and Jean, who took the time to welcome us and check in with us during our stay. Those little touches were really appreciated. We also had a really lovely spa treatment, and the gym staff were amazing as well. The weather was a little mixed during part of our stay, but of course that is completely outside the resort’s control and it did not take away from how much we enjoyed ourselves. A huge thank you to Dinara, Ayu, Barsha, Fazeel, Casmir, Harshal, G, Jean and the wider Hurawalhi team for making our honeymoon so special.

We stayed at Hurawalhi Island Resort last month for our third Maldives resort experience and absolutely loved it. Beautiful island, amazing staff and excellent food. Our travel agent, Ayo Ke Maldives, handpicked all three resorts for us and each one has been amazing. We’ve already booked our fourth trip with them for next year. Can’t wait to go back!

Hurawalhi was everything and more for our honeymoon. From arriving on the island by sea plane, to being introduced to our amazing host, Zayan, to seeing our immaculate over water bungalow and meeting all the amazing staff and guests in between; from start to finish it has been nothing short of amazing. The food is insane; the access to the restaurants all included and the quality of the food has been amazing, and going to 5.8 and the Tepinyaki experience were worth the extra money. Zayan has been 11/10 - from the round the clock support, to recommending experiences such as nurse shark snorkelling he has been the best and Charlie and I feel very lucky to have met him. Special shout outs to Anees and Farrey at Canneli for your continued kindness, laughs and for always taking the time to chat, Casmir at Coco Bar for always remembering us, our orders and for entertaining us with his quizzes and charisma, and Fredy, Mondy and Yaz at Kashibo. Akan at Reception made the sad and sometimes difficult process of checking out and settling up super easy, so a huge thank you. 11/10 would recommend!

My wife and i went to Hurawahli the second time and would recommend it to everyone. We had an amazing Island-Host in Zayan who took care of all of our needs and was always there for questions. The Staff at the Buffet-Restaurant, JFK and the Kashibo-Restaurant was always very friendly and specialthanks to Azid, Suheil, Barsha, Ayu, Sahan, Casmir, Harry and Ilham for taking care of us in all the cozy and beautiful Restaurants and Bars. The Food is excellent and offers a wide selection of different things so everyone can have what they like. The Kitchen-Team is also always very friendly and help you with everything you need. Also here specialthanks to Harshal and Murugan. Also sepcialthanks to Khalil for making the best Egg-Benedict. We stayed at the Pool Water-Villa which is absolutly breathtaking. The rooms are always clean and the minibar gets restocked everyday so you always have what you need. Room-Service comes twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening) to tidy up the room. All things said we would definitly recommend Hurawahli to everyone.
