Hurawalhi Resort Maldives

We had a wonderful visit at the Hurawalhi resort! From the moment we were met at the dock by staff, everything was seamless. We were immediately introduced to our Island Host, Sam. Sam was wonderful! He was funny and charming and always had a suggestion when he knew we needed some guidance, often before we even knew we needed it. He booked restaurants and excursions for us, and he also went out of his way to help plan a very special birthday meal for me on the beach, which I will never forget! He was there to assist every time we reached out. Sam is a big part of why we enjoyed our visit so much. And as avid divers and snorkelers, this place is a paradise. The house reef is exceptionally good. We went on an excursion where we able to swim with multiple manta rays. And right off our own villa, we saw sea turtles, eagle rays, sharks, and huge variety of fish and marine life. Whether it was at restaurant, walking on a path, in a shop, or lounging by the beautiful infinity pool, every single staff member we met was the epitome of pleasant and helpful. This place is a gem, and we will definitely be back!

An Unforgettable Honeymoon in Paradise My wife and I stayed at Hurawalhi Island Resort for our honeymoon, and it became one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. The crystal-clear ocean, beautiful villas, peaceful atmosphere, and incredible marine life made it everything we had hoped for in a Maldives getaway. One of the highlights was exploring the house reef. We wanted to become more confident snorkeling, and our Island Host, Zayan, kindly helped us find an opportunity despite the scheduling challenges. He arranged for his friend Raji to take us snorkeling, and we were lucky enough to see three eagle rays swimming gracefully together. This experience gave us the confidence to explore on our own for much longer the following day. That was when we encountered an unforgettable sea turtle. It was enormous and beautiful, yet incredibly gentle and calm. It came so close that we were able to swim right alongside it, just a short distance away. Sharing the water with such a magnificent creature was an extraordinary experience that we will treasure for years to come. We also had the unusual opportunity to visit the Team Village and learn about life behind the scenes at Hurawalhi. Hearing about the resort's water purification system, sustainability efforts, and the people who help run the island gave us a deeper appreciation for the thought and work that go into making this place so special. What made our stay even more memorable was the genuine kindness we experienced. When I forgot to bring sunscreen, Zayan kindly offered his own. He also helped with restaurant reservations, buggy transfers, activities, and photography arrangements, always making things feel effortless. Perhaps it was simply our impression, but his warmth and consideration sometimes felt like more than a professional relationship between a host and his guests. He made us feel as though he genuinely cared about how our honeymoon was going, almost as if we were friends rather than guests he was looking after as part of his job. We cannot know how he saw it himself, but that was the feeling his kindness left us with, and it meant a great deal to us. We would also like to thank the other wonderful people who made our stay so special. Ahmed took such meticulous care of our room and always greeted us with an exceptionally warm, comforting smile. We also loved seeing his passion when he performed the traditional drums. Those little moments made our days brighter. Adam always served us with a smile, thoughtfully and politely checking that we had everything we needed. His gentle, attentive service made every meal feel welcoming. And to all the wonderful people working in the hot kitchen at Kaneli Restaurant, whose names we unfortunately didn't get the chance to learn: thank you for preparing such delicious food every day and for keeping your smiles even in the heat of the kitchen. We truly appreciated your hard work. During our six-night stay, we felt that we had grown genuinely close to so many of the people working at the resort. When departure day came, we were surprised by how sad we felt to leave. It no longer felt like simply checking out of a resort; it felt like saying goodbye to people we had come to know and care about. That may be the most precious memory we take home from Hurawalhi. We arrived as guests celebrating our honeymoon, but we left feeling that we had made meaningful connections with the people who welcomed us so warmly. If any of you ever visit Korea, we would be absolutely delighted to return the hospitality and host you ourselves! Hurawalhi is a beautiful place for a honeymoon or a special getaway, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Beyond the breathtaking scenery, wonderful food, and incredible marine life, it was the people who made our experience truly unforgettable. Thank you to everyone at Hurawalhi for making our honeymoon so much more than just a beautiful holiday. We will remember not only this incredible island, but also the warmth, kindness, and smiles of the people who made us feel so welcome. Where do we even begin? Hurawalhi is, quite simply, paradise on earth! From the moment we arrived, we were completely swept away by the beauty and magic of this extraordinary little island. From magical dolphin encounters and breathtaking snorkelling to simply soaking up the beauty and tranquillity of the island, every moment at Hurawahli felt like a dream. We have just spent 13 nights at Hurawalhi and it was the most amazing honeymoon resort. From the moment we stepped off the seaplane on to the speedboat (only a few minutes from the island), the staff knew our names before we had even checked in. The staff were exceptional from start to finish. Ali was our host and spoke to us at breakfast and dinner every day to help with booking trips, sports and just checking in to see if there was anything we needed. Whenever we asked for a buggy to and from our room he was so helpful arranging it. Our waiter Suhail looked after us at meal times and was so friendly, even telling us the best snorkelling spots. The bar staff too are so hard working and all knew our names too, as did lots of other staff as we walked around the island. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who were so happy and polite all the time. The underwater restaurant was the best meal we've had and the food and service was 5 star. We opted for the wine pairing menu and the somelier was very knowledgable. We just wish we had more time in there to carry on drinking amongst the amazing backdrop! We had a water villa with the pool which was unbelievable. The fridge was constantly restocked and every night we had fresh water by our bed. There was also snorkelling equipment left in our room. We had taken our own but the fins were well-used! We played tennis and padel and the courts are all modern with fresh water in the fridges on court and towels provided. We also used the gym which had the best view of the beach. We snorkelled the whole island every day and saw sharks, turtles, stingrays and thousands of fish every time. The diving spots nearby are also very good, as was the nurse shark snorkelling trip which only had 4 of us on the speedboat so it wasn't touristy. Overall the food, drink, service and amenities were 5 star and everything felt so personal. The staff were unbelievable and could not have done more for us or been friendlier. I've been to a number of different islands in the Maldives and this was the best!

Had the most amazing time, zayan our host was fantastic organised everything for us and really made our holiday perfect, this is our new place for holidays as I don't think there can be anything better in the world you could ask for, kashmir the bar manager at coco was great and Sadan also in coco was our favourite guy, highly recommend this place as it's truly is paradise
