The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives

S manželkou jsme se zamilovali do Malediv hned při naší první návštěvě v roce 2022 a začali objevovat kouzlo jednotlivých resortů, každý byl jiný, svým způsobem originální, prostředím, přístupem, jídlem i ubytováním. Vždy jsme zkoušeli jiný resort a hledali ten pro nás nejlepší… až jsme se rozhodli vrátit zpět na Standard Huruvalhi, místo, které nejvíce vyhovovalo našim potřebám… krásné ubytování ve vodní vilce, kde kolem plavou hejna ryb, manty i rejnoci, malí i velcí žraloci (jenom ty želvy se nám letos schovali), výborné jídlo v hlavní restauraci (i v těch “vedlejších”), zvlášť dezerty byly vynikající a zejména pak lidé, kteří se o vás starají, nemůžu jmenovat všechny, tak alespoň ti nejúžasnější… hned v úvodu se nás ujala Eva, energická, vždy usměvavá, se vším pomohla, vše zařídila a nikdy nezapomenu na její … “ja vás miluji”, to musí odzbrojit každého, my ji milovali také 😍… pak tu byla Ayu, z restaurace Kula, našla ten nejlepší stůl, vždy si pamatovala co pijeme a stačilo se zmínit že máme rádi hovězí maso a druhý den jsme dostali ten nejlepší t-bone steak co existuje 😁, no prostě úžasná manažerka směny … a nakonec Shakh, ten nejlepší číšník ze všech, na obědech v hlavní restauraci, na večeřích v restauraci Onda, ten se o nás vždy skvěle staral, rádi jsme si s nim povídali a vždy se rádi zase vraceli… a co závěrem… Standard je místo, kam se chcete a budete vracet, protože je tam vše, co od dovolené čekáte… brzy nashledanou . We spent our honeymoon at The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives, and can honestly say that these were the most wonderful two weeks of our lives. From the moment we arrived until the very difficult farewell, we were treated with a level of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care that we had never experienced before. Upon arriving at Malé Airport, we were warmly welcomed by Bassud. Everything was perfectly organized, and we did not have to worry about a thing. We would also like to highlight his support on our departure day. He helped us quickly and efficiently find the correct check-in counter and made sure we got to our gate without any issues. A very special thank you goes to our host, Poula, who took such wonderful care of us throughout our entire two-week stay. Whether it was organizing excursions, making reservations, or answering any questions we had, Poula was always there for us. Everything was handled perfectly, and no request was ever too much. We truly could not have wished for a better host. The team at the Kula buffet restaurant also played a huge part in making our vacation unforgettable. Ayju, Hasan, Scheista, and Nora looked after us throughout our stay. After just two days, they already knew our names and even remembered our preferences. Every day, we were welcomed with a smile and made to feel not like guests, but like friends. Their attentiveness and exceptional service were simply outstanding. Even the smallest special requests were fulfilled immediately and beyond our expectations. We would also like to thank Gewa, who introduced us to some delicious specialties from Sri Lankan cuisine. His recommendations and the friendly conversations we shared added even more wonderful memories to our dining experiences at Kula. Another special mention goes to our room attendant, Tarikul. Although he was still in training, it only took him a couple of days to learn our routines and preferences. He was always incredibly friendly, attentive, and kept our water villa in immaculate condition throughout our stay. His dedication and hard work deserve the highest praise. Our water villa, located directly on the house reef, was an absolute dream. Every day, we could step straight from our terrace into the crystal-clear turquoise waters and enjoy unforgettable snorkeling experiences. The underwater world was simply breathtaking and exceeded all our expectations. What truly made this vacation so special, however, were the people. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. It felt as though every wish was anticipated before we even had to ask. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult. We did not feel like we were leaving a hotel, but rather a place that had become a home away from home. It felt as though we were leaving part of our family behind. Thank you to the entire team at The Standard Huruvalhi Maldives for giving us such unforgettable honeymoon memories. We will carry these experiences in our hearts forever and sincerely hope to return one day. Highly recommended – five stars simply do not do it justice! 🌴❤️🌊

Lovely resort with amazing friendly staff. Special mention to Shamaau and Sai who were always ready to help with anything. The luxury escapes direct flight Aust to Male and then sea plane is a good service. Wasn’t much more than a week in Thailand. Hyatt The Standard Maldives’ main restaurant food and several ala carte restaurants are great. We chose the all inclusive food and drinks package inc extras. It was off peak/wet season but only had a little rain and mostly beautiful sunny days. Perfect water temp and snorkeling from our over the water Villa is fun. A wonderful relaxing experience you won’t forget.

Everything at the standard was beautiful. My wife and I had an unbelievable time from the activities planned, to dining options, to just relaxing at our private pool. The service is unmatched, everybody was so nice and Shamaau was so helpful our entire stay. We will definitely be back.

He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us and made our stay unforgettable. ❤️ Hasan at Kula Restaurant was also amazing, and the guys at kula , BBQ shark and Joos Café were so friendly and welcoming. Everyone was incredibly helpful and kind🥹❤️❤️❤️. Even though the weather wasn’t always the best, the incredible team made our experience absolutely perfect.
