The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives

S manželkou jsme se zamilovali do Malediv hned při naší první návštěvě v roce 2022 a začali objevovat kouzlo jednotlivých resortů, každý byl jiný, svým způsobem originální, prostředím, přístupem, jídlem i ubytováním. Vždy jsme zkoušeli jiný resort a hledali ten pro nás nejlepší… až jsme se rozhodli vrátit zpět na Standard Huruvalhi, místo, které nejvíce vyhovovalo našim potřebám… krásné ubytování ve vodní vilce, kde kolem plavou hejna ryb, manty i rejnoci, malí i velcí žraloci (jenom ty želvy se nám letos schovali), výborné jídlo v hlavní restauraci (i v těch “vedlejších”), zvlášť dezerty byly vynikající a zejména pak lidé, kteří se o vás starají, nemůžu jmenovat všechny, tak alespoň ti nejúžasnější… hned v úvodu se nás ujala Eva, energická, vždy usměvavá, se vším pomohla, vše zařídila a nikdy nezapomenu na její … “ja vás miluji”, to musí odzbrojit každého, my ji milovali také 😍… pak tu byla Ayu, z restaurace Kula, našla ten nejlepší stůl, vždy si pamatovala co pijeme a stačilo se zmínit že máme rádi hovězí maso a druhý den jsme dostali ten nejlepší t-bone steak co existuje 😁, no prostě úžasná manažerka směny … a nakonec Shakh, ten nejlepší číšník ze všech, na obědech v hlavní restauraci, na večeřích v restauraci Onda, ten se o nás vždy skvěle staral, rádi jsme si s nim povídali a vždy se rádi zase vraceli… a co závěrem… Standard je místo, kam se chcete a budete vracet, protože je tam vše, co od dovolené čekáte… brzy nashledanou . Family trip for 6 days (kids ages 17, 15, 11). Overall, we really enjoyed the trip. The overwater bungalow was exactly as advertised and being able to walk down stairs into the water was amazing. It was easy to book the tennis courts daily. Buffet is expensive ($50 for breakfast, $60 for lunch, and $80 for dinner) but the food choices are extensive and kids 11 and under are half-priced.

We had a lovely 5 days at the Standard in an ocean facing water villa. This was our first trip to the maldives but have stayed at many seaside resorts over the years. The resort was amazing but what really stood out was the amazing service and attentiveness from the staff. Paula was our concerige who looked after our every need, Sai in the restaurants who shared his recommendations and actually put together special tasting options for us. Billal at Joost Cafe who kept on getting us drinks, even when we had checked out and was waiting to board the sea plane. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. Our trip was a luxury escapes special and we were lucky enough to have early check and late check outs. We also had the all inclusive package which was amazing value. Negronis every night at dinner. Gudaguda was also a hghlight with the maldivian food. The weather was rainy for a couple of days but we could still snorkle the house reef and read books. The gym had good modern equipment (although bring your own water as there was none there). An amazing stay and I hope we can go back soon!

We recently stayed at this beautiful resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is set in a breathtaking location, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water and a pristine white sandy beach. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of the Maldives. The food was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious dishes that everyone in our family enjoyed. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep both adults and children entertained, making every day fun and memorable. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention goes to ‘Mariya’ at the Kids Club. She was incredibly kind, caring, and attentive, making our children feel comfortable and excited to spend time at the club. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to our butler, ‘Shamaau’. His professionalism, attentiveness, and thoughtful service made our stay seamless and stress-free. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, and his dedication did not go unnoticed. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable holiday. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing family vacation with exceptional service, delicious food, and plenty of activities for all ages. We can’t wait to return.

Our stay at The Standard, Maldives was absolutely amazing, and we truly had an unforgettable experience. The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and everything exceeded our expectations. However, our trip wouldn’t have been as perfect without Paul Maher. He was hands down the best assistant we could have asked for. From our check-in to our check-out, he made sure everything went smoothly. Whether it was arranging restaurant reservations, helping with room requests, or solving any issue we had, Paul was always there to help with a smile and a positive attitude. What impressed us the most was that no matter what time we messaged him, he always responded quickly and made sure everything was taken care of. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly made our stay even more special. Thank you, Paul, for going above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back!
