Hotel Cerviola

Přiletěli jsme v noci a pohodlně jsme se dostali posledním autobusem do Marsaskala. Asi 600m od zastávky se nachází tento hotel, v pohodě pěšky. Velmi příjemný recepční a pokoj čistý s krásnou koupelnou. K dispozici je lednice i kávovar. Snídaně anglická i sladká, super.

Good location: not far from the airport (about 20-30 minutes drive, according to the traffic) and walking distance to the waterfront. There are some bars, cafes and restaurants around the hotel, which is great, as the hotel has no restaurant. Left the accommodation early in the morning, so I skipped breakfast. The rooms with city views have balconies. My room, located on the first floor, was rather small, the corridors are narrow and the elevator tiny. Overall, it's not a bad option for a short stay.

The hotel is in a quiet bit of town in a traditional seaside resort - it was December into January - so quiet. Really good customer service from all reception staff who sorted out some issues with our room on arrival. Hotel is classic ( some may call it dated) and room was attended to every day. Well stocked store next door. Fantastic bus service and good range of restaurants etc near by. Nice walks to salt pans and a stroll round the bay.

The room was awful, no windows. The toilet paper was never topped up. The cleaning needed a lot to be desired. The breakfast was ok, but we struggled to get a table and that was in October. We asked to change rooms and was always told “ask tomorrow “, therefore this never happened.

Arrived on 19th of February, easy transfer from airport, hotel smells great, fresh, nice welcoming and room seems just renovated, clean and nothing to complain really. I did not book any breakfast because I want to skip those calories haha. But Maraskala is calm, location fine and what I like bug free and a good airco with also a rain-shower. Top
