Hotel Ramla Bay Resort

Beautiful experience: the resort offers many opportunities, although it is quite far from the main attractions and sights in Malta (but on the other hand, the area is quiet and silent). The staff at Terramar Restaurant was very careful about gluten free food: we had special gluten free salty and sweet food, including crepes, prepared every morning. A special mention to Carlo, from the reception staff, who was very nice and professional regarding all our needs as guests. The hotel also offers a very nice spa.

I am currently staying at Ramla Bay Resort in a panoramic seaview deluxe room. The staff are attentive and the hotel looks beautiful although there are some building works the disruption is minimal so that’s good. The view from our room are amazing. The beds are comfy and there is very little noise from people passing outside the room. There are plenty of sund bed and multiple pools. Negative points sadly means I would not return. There are multiple flies landing on the food in the buffet restaurant particularly terramar which has lovely views. Food is not covered and therefore flies just keep landing and walking all over the food. Such a shame that they don’t use covers over all the food otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating. Another minor point is they don’t have shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the room. Instead they provide 4 small disposable sachets of shampoo and body wash combined that I can hardly open. In summary really lovely hotel but the flies on the food really let it down.
