Hotel Ramla Bay Resort

This is the most fantastic hotel. Every single staff member was outstanding. Our check in on a Sunday evening was quick, smooth and very unflustered and the airconditioned lobby was a welcome bonus. Our room was big with beautiful views of the sea from the balcony which was a good spot to watch the thunderstorms out at sea....a private light show. Our room was cleaned every day by wonderful dedicated staff who take pride in their job. The restaurants in the hotel are excellent. The Italian restaurant is comfortable and the food is lovely. The bar beside the private beach does fab tapas and excellent cocktails. Breakfast is a buffet which provides you with endless choice and you will not go hungry. There is a small private beach with sunloungers and the water is perfect. I spent many a happy afternoon just bobbing in the sea.....Bliss. Even though this hotel is very large, the way it is designed makes it feel it is smaller and more intimate. There are buses only 5 minutes walk away which can bring you to Valetta or anywhere in-between at the huge cost of E2.50. The taxi service is BOLT and is very reasonable. Just download the BOLT app. The Ferry to Gozo is only two bus stops away and Gozo is definitely worth the visit. Less than 5 euro return. As previously mentioned, every staff member was attentive, respectful and hard working but I do have to give a HUGE shout out to Paul from Drifter, who couldn't have been more helpful .....an absolute gentleman. Get atmosphere and great friendly service

Its our final day at the ramla bay resort, its such a nice hotel. Spacious rooms, lovely pools. The food is amazing and all the staff are so friendly, especially Ajit (my wife loved him 🤣) He is always smiling, happy, welcoming and chatty. Nothing is too much for him. He helped make our holiday here enjoyable.
