Had the most amazing long weekend at the embassy hotel! Straight from arrival the staff were super welcoming and helped us in with our bags. Our room wasn't ready yet as we arrived early, but they let us drop off our luggage and gave us an arrival drink. We went straight to the rooftop bar for a bite to eat. The food and drinks were delicious, with amazing views. When our room was ready we received a phone call, and out bags were taken straight there. The rooms were large with ample storage, including a coffee machine, hairdryer, and iron. There was water in the fridge which was replenished daily, and a water fountain on every floor. My only criticism of the room is that the lighting was quite dim, making it difficult for me to do my makeup as there was minimal natural lighting. The rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily. If you are on the fence, I would absolutely recommend adding breakfast to your stay. The buffet is one of the highest quality hotel breakfasts I have had, with fresh and varied hot and cold food, and coffees made to order. The location of the hotel is a great base for exploring Valetta. St Johns Co Cathedral is around the corner, and there are ample shops/bars/restaurants right on the doorstep. In either direction a short walk will take you to a ferry port with the option of Sliema in one direction, and the 3 cities / Gozo trips in the other. As the hotel is very central, it could be quite noisy in the rooms of an evening. However local rules seem to be that noise stops at 11pm, which was fine for us. The thing that shocked me is how early workmen started (a lot of building work going on in the nearby area) - we were woken up at 6am every day!! This is not the fault of the hotel and did not impact our experience. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.
A nice place, spoilt by hotel being dishonest! My wife & I had a double gin & tonic each. We were charged correctly for a double gin, but each of us were charged for two bottles of tonic each, but we only had one bottle each. Come on guys, you’re better than that, surely!
Excellent location in Valletta within walking distance of places to see and visit. The reception staff are out of this world they all have pride in what they do for you, always smiling and eager to help. Big shout for Andrew without doubt made checking in an absolute pleasure, and during our stay always had time to talk with you. We could not have wished for a better hotel very clean and modern as well as spacious. The restaurant is an absolute must not only for its panoramic views on the rooftop but the food was very well prepared and again served by staff who took time out to explain the food. We would without any doubts recommend this hotel it certainly along with staff made our holiday.
A fabulous hotel in a great location. All the staff were very welcoming and professional. The view from the rooftop when having breakfast is second to none.
What a lovley hotel, rooms were clean and spacious, housekeeping were amazing, the balcony outside our room was perfect for chilling and having coffee, didnt manage to experience the court yard due to private event, air conditioning no issues , noise of street below no issues. Etienne was an amazing host ,nothing too much trouble very friendly and accommodating and a assett to the hotel, although the roof top bar is always busy for evening meals advise to book, would I stay again absolutley We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and after a day out came back to cakes and a bottle of prosecco and card I was really touched by the hotels thoughtfulness Thank you so much Eileen and Paul
