The Embassy Valletta Hotel

Excellent hotel from arrival, over our stay and regrettable departure. Helpful courteous staff, gorgeous cool room, excellent breakfast with stunning views. Helpful messages during stay. I would book again. Many thanks 😁

In many ways this should be a 5 star review because there are a lot of great things about this hotel. The location is perfect and within walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and places of interest. The rooms themselves are gorgeous but tended to be on the dark side without ample lighting. What I wasn't wild about was the condition of the linens on the bed. They were clearly worn and "pilling" and should have been replaced a year ago. They were clean but a true 5 star rating wouldn't have this quality of bed linens. The other thing that was odd was on 2 different mornings when I woke up and picked up my phone from the shelf next to the bed where it had been charging overnight, there was a small ant walking on my phone. The first morning I sort of wrote it off because I didn't see any other evidence of ants in the room. The second morning there wasn't an ant so I thought the previous morning had been a one off. The third morning there was another ant on my phone. That bothered me but I never saw any other ants in the room again, so I never mentioned anything to the front desk. Just kind of strange because we were on the 5th floor. We still enjoyed our stay at this hotel and while I wish I could have given a 5 star review, it fell short in a couple of areas.

The hotel is located right in the middle of Valletta with incredible views. The hotel staff are excellent and cannot do enough to help. The rooms are decorated to a high spec and en-suites very pleasant. We will definitely be returning as we loved Malta and will use The Embassy for sure as our base.

Amazing central location for 3 night stay in Valletta. Accommodation was clean and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Jewel in crown was rooftop pool. Midnight swim was a standout memory and experience. Staff so polite and helpful. Highly recommend

The hotel is beautifully furnished in a bright contemporary manner and so central to everything in Valletta that getting around at a hot, busy time of year was really easy. After a tiring day of sightseeing the hotel always seemed just a short walk away. The staff were all wonderfully welcoming and genuingly friendly, answering multiple questions from a couple who are not good at following Google maps! The taxi ordered by the staff picked us up ten yards from the door. We would love to have spent longer than our 5 nights and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to friends and other family.
