The Village Boutique & Spa

It’s was such a good choice, hotel for me, I have had great experience, staff were so friendly helpful, all the food was delicious and good value for money. I had breakfast lunch and dinner meals. Breakfast had huge selection of different food. A full spread of warm food, beans bacon etc, the fruits were so many to choose from bread, local too. All guests and staff were super nice and friendly you could chat and have your own space quite time too. Very tranquil in at the pool it was so nice to be able to unwind and rest. Spa facilities were great, clean and quiet. I got to use all the saunas, ice bath and indoor pool. Had couple of treatments massage she was incredible. Would of like to have had more and facials. They arrange transport for activities that went on and transfers from hotel. Taxis to local areas not very expensive. I absolutely loved my room, and bed was hard to get up in Moring as I was so comfortable pillows excellent quality. It was super amazing trip I have recommend to some friends already and I’ll be going back

Great hotel away from the crowds and traffic. Very central for seeing Malta. First the room, very clean, comfy beds...best sleep I've had in years. Fridge, air con, both essential. Nice shower room. The only downside was the balcony, it really wasn't a balcony, it was more of an opening window and was big enough for only 1 chair and it was a squeeze to get to that, so if you're looking for a nice balcony to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine, this isn't for you. It didn't matter too much to us as we were out most days and just wanted to sleep. Breakfast had a good variety of choices. Pools are all nice, the inside pool is lovely and relaxing. The rooftop hydro pool was nice for a quick dip. The outside pool was busy at weekends but not so much in the week. You can get drinks brought to you. Naxxar itself is nice and the church is worth a visit as are the palace and gardens. You can get collected from the church for the highlights of Malta and Mdina trip which is great. We used the Bolt App for taxis to get around which was good. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

During our holiday in Malta, we stayed at The Village Boutique & Spa. A lovely place to completely unwind on the mattress beds by the pool. Small-scale, beautiful rooms with good beds and a rain shower, and helpful staff. Away from the hustle and bustle, while Mdina, Valletta, Qwara, etc. are still very close by. It is located on a narrow street, but parking nearby was always possible. Good breakfast that we could enjoy outside on the terrace in the tropical garden. We often ate elsewhere in the evenings, but there was plenty of choice at the hotel as well. Many nationalities, but all guests who come here for the peace and quiet.

Nice comfortable hotel, friendly staff and excellent food. However, the outside pool area has just enough sunbeds for hotel guests, without the hotel offering day passes (which we did not know about) to people to use the facilities - on a "first come first served" basis, which left hotel guests trying to find space. The Saturday and Sunday we were staying at the hotel was very busy with large groups of day guests, including noisy children and inflatables in the (small) pool. So much for a relaxing getaway at this "boutique" hotel. The bathroom needed some attention too.
