An absolutely excellent hotel. Beautifully decorated, excellent staff and lives up to its 'boutique' name. Firstly, please discount the earlier review saying this is not a child friendly hotel. It certainly is. Although we didn't complain ourselves we were witness to the prolonged screaming of that particular child and the carers should have taken responsibility and brought her to her room to allow her to regulate. It was not acceptable. In the week we were there (we didn't have children with us) many families with children of all ages were welcomed fully. Their children happily played in and around the pool. No issues there. Back to the hotel itself. The room was lovely; we had a garden facing room with juliet balcony. Big enough for one chair to sit and read and chill while overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool. If you wish to sit out as a couple I would suggest booking one of the larger balcony rooms which are available. I can't fault this hotel and will certainly rebook. Excellent location and well run. Thank you to all staff.

What a gorgeous hotel! We had a fantastic experience overall, highlighted by the amazing food, the beautiful pool area, and a highly helpful management team. The only issue we encountered during our stay was a situation with a screaming, crying child that caused disruptions around the pool for multiple days. The hotel is wonderfully child-friendly—there were several other children present who were no issue at all—but unfortunately, these particular parents did not take responsibility for their child's behavior. When a disruption goes on for multiple hours, common courtesy dictates moving to another area so as not to irritate everyone else trying to relax. Thankfully, the management stepped in and dealt with the situation as politely and professionally as they could. Intervening and asking parents to manage their own child is a very difficult position for any staff member to be put in, and the team handled it with absolute grace. It truly should have been resolved by the parents without the hotel team ever needing to get involved. Overall, the facilities are stunning, the staff is top-notch, and they go above and beyond to protect the guest experience. Highly recommended!

Hi if you have kids do not go to this hotel even if they except kids it is definitely not child friendly... We paid for a pool day to spend some family with relatives staying at the hotel when one of the kids in our party a 2 year old hurt herself by hitting her head on the wall of the pool and obviously cried we were told by a staff member that the manager sent her to stop the child from crying as it's bothering the guests rather then being asked what was wrong and if we needed anything we then told her the child had gotten hurt and that's the reason she's crying ,after less then 5 mins the staff member was sent again to tell us if the child kept on crying to take her indoors as her crying is bothering the other people that's when one of our family members staying at the hotel decided to speak to the manger who was very very rude with bad manners he told her due to the child crying he has had more complaints then he has ever had in years we found this very hurtful and made us feel very uncomfortable and shocked how the situation was handled and why it even was turned into such a situation just cause a child was hurt and crying we wanted to let others know how children and their families are treated here ... do not come and stay in this hotel even if they except children As in-house guests it is not child friendly at all even if it's advertised that they except children to stay in hotel... if you go to a family hotel and your child crys you shouldn't be asked to leave or to take your child indoors kids cry kids play their kids !!!!!! if it was a adult only hotel I would understand but the child was staying at the hotel family paid for their stay .... unfortunately this was very very disappointing...and to top it off rather then the manger trying to fix the situation he was extremely rude and very unprofessional apart from saying if the child keeps crying bring her in doors so she dosent bother people he also said if you want to leave the hotel leave we will give you your money back .....all of this because a 2 year old got hurt and was crying and I would also like to point out the crying lasted for 15-20 mins max just like any child would have done if they had gotten hurt so I wanted to take this opportunity to warn anyone with kids not to stay at this hotel cause chances are if your baby crys you might be asked to go indoors or even offered to leave the hotel with no place else to go just so your child doesn't bother people
