Hilton Taghazout Bay Beach Resort & Spa

We had a fab 5 day break at the Hilton Taghazout in late September. The location of this hotel is stunning on the Taghazout bay with a gorgeous private beach. We were full board so eat at all the restaurants. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent. So now to the stars of the show…all the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble at all meal times. Special call outs to Mouad who became our personal sommelier. He even ordered in a bottle of wine for us while we were there. Secondly special thanks to Amina at the Beach Bar who was so friendly and really looked after us. It felt like a personal service. ☺️ Lastly the Management cocktail party on our last night was fantastic. Food and cocktails fab! Moroccan music super. The management all came round wanting feedback and ensuring we were having a great holiday. Here is a hotel that genuinely cares about their clients. 🥰 Many thanks for a holiday we will fondly remember always! ❤️

Where do I start..the hotel itself is in a great setting by the beach however there is literally nothing else close by. No shops, the nearest village is about a 45min walk away, that said there are a couple of restaurants about a ten minute walk away but when your there for a week it’s very limited. At the hotel there is literally no atmosphere, no entertainment or events, sitting by the pool you can literally hear a pin drop! My biggest issue was with house keeping, twice my bathroom wasn’t cleaned and towels not replaced. Having complained in person to reception at 5pm that I’d like fresh towels and the room cleaned I was advised it would be stored in 5min. An hour later after several chases my room wasn’t cleaned, so I found the cleaners myself who got on to it. By 6.15pm my room was serviced. I didn’t think it was an unreasonable request as most people would go back to their rooms early evening to freshen up and get changed. I emailed the hotel to vent my frustration as on the night in question we were going to meet some friends and as a result we were late. Disappointed that the hotel ignored my first email I sent a chase the following day, and still no response. On checkout I mentioned about my email and they simply were not bothered. Not what I would expect from a premium brand hotel. Lastly, I ordered some fries in the afternoon which when served were undercooked. I spoke to the pool waiter when he asked if everything was ok and said they were under cooked. He asked if I wanted some more but I said no and then he handed me a bill. I said I would not be paying and he said he would have to pay for them out of his own pocket. I asked to talk to his manager as that was not on! He begged me not to as he was worried about being sacked if I made a complaint. He was a really nice guy, shame on you Hilton Hotels if that’s a reflection on how you treat your staff.

I have stayed at many hotels over the years, but every once in a while, you come across a property where the people turn a great stay into something truly memorable. My experience at Hilton Taghazout Bay Beach Resort was exactly that. The property is beautiful, the ocean views are spectacular, and the amenities are excellent, but what I will remember most is the exceptional hospitality of the people who work here. There is a genuine warmth to this team that cannot be taught through training alone. You can tell they truly care about their guests. I have to begin with Soukaina, who takes care of Hilton Honors members. She is an absolute gem and a wonderful ambassador for Hilton and Moroccan hospitality. From the moment I arrived, Soukaina made me feel genuinely welcome. She greeted me with Moroccan tea and cookies and arranged a wonderful upgrade to a beautiful room with an incredible ocean view. But what impressed me most was everything that followed. She checked on me every single day to make sure I was enjoying my stay and that everything was going well. She was warm, attentive, thoughtful, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. This is hospitality at its best, and Hilton is fortunate to have her. Chef Bouchra at Anaw restaurant also deserves special recognition. What an impressive young chef. Having trained with world-renowned chefs, she combines talent, creativity, and a wonderful instinct for flavors and presentation. She surprised me with creative dishes that were beautifully presented and genuinely delicious. You can tell she puts thought and personality into everything she creates. I thoroughly enjoyed discovering her food and believe she has a very bright future ahead of her. The entire service team at Anaw was outstanding. The waiters consistently greeted me with smiles, positive attitudes, and a sincere desire to make every meal enjoyable. A very special thank you goes to Omar, the Assistant Manager at Anaw. Omar understands what genuine hospitality means. He went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of and made every visit to the restaurant feel welcoming. His professionalism, attentiveness, and generosity are exactly what great hospitality leadership should look like. I also have to recognize Roukia from housekeeping. She is another true gem. My room was always immaculate and thoughtfully prepared. She made sure I had plenty of towels and robes and, perhaps after realizing that I am a very thirsty guest, always made sure I had plenty of water! Even clothes I had casually left on the bed would be neatly arranged when I returned. Those little details demonstrate genuine care and pride in her work. A special thank you also goes to Youssef at the gym. He was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make my visits to the fitness center enjoyable. He even offered me a complimentary personal training session. He is knowledgeable, encouraging, personable, and an excellent coach. And I cannot forget Redouan, the Bell Captain, who was fantastic throughout my stay. He made sure my luggage was taken care of, taxis were arranged, and everything ran smoothly. Always helpful, gracious, and welcoming, he is another wonderful example of the hospitality at this hotel. What impressed me most is that these were not isolated experiences. Exceptional service seems to be part of the culture of this hotel. Beautiful hotels can be built anywhere. Luxury rooms, pools, restaurants, and ocean views can all be replicated. What is much harder to replicate is a team of people who make guests feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Soukaina, Chef Bouchra, Omar, Roukia, Youssef, Redouan, and the wonderful team at Anaw did exactly that. They gave me a wonderful memory of Moroccan hospitality. To the management of this Hilton: you have some exceptional people representing your hotel. Please recognize and take care of them, because they are the reason guests like me remember an experience, recommend the property to others, and want to return. An absolutely wonderful stay. Five stars without hesitation.

We had a great time at the party! A massive thank you to all involved . It was very well planned and executed. A welcoming atmosphere, lovely food and drink and an amazing sunset! Perfect. Thanks again - a beautiful memory created.

We found this hotel to remote and too quiet for us, there was no atmosphere, food and drink was lovely but expensive to eat there every day and little / small meal options unless you like seafood and no shops close by as an alternative Staff were very attentive and think there were more staff than customers, we were b&b for 7 nights and breakfast was the same for all 7 mornings Pool area beautiful and sea view and sunsets special, just not the right hotel/holiday for me
