Nirvana by Le Meridien Ile Maurice

We visited the Kumin Restaurant at the Le Meridian Ile Maurice hotel resort. The food was amazing given a true taste of Indian Cuisine. The quality of service from Lovraaj and his team was exceptional. I have left images of the amazing food we were blessed to taste on our holiday. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel and Kumin will be first on our list of restaurants to enjoy again!

Having good dinner. Mr love raj and his team served very tasty food. Must stay and very good Indian food available. Must stay for this place with family, it is bit costly but worth to stay and only hotel to get good Indian food in Mauritius. Very satisfied

We are a family of three. We are frequent travelers and have a huge experience from hotels and resorts in 142 countries and territories. It is my third and my wlfe’s second stay in Mauritius. We plan to return. Positives first. Our room was overall good value for money. We have stayed at or been to «nicer» resorts in Mauritius but then the price per night more than doubles. Decent food, great breakfast, nice location and ample parking. The size of the room is ok. As with everything af the hotel quite functional. If you want to go for honeymoon, forget it. It is a great place for families though. It also worked well to be a guest at the resort at the same time as there was a big wedding party. Two nice pools. Nice beach. Nice length of the resort. The buildings are not that nice. Parts of outdoor areas are drab and not what to expect from a «5-star» establishment. The walk to the reception was at times dark and depressive. The waiters twice did not understand the type of drink we wanted although it was on the menue! Booking a table on the phone was a pain. Being «forced» to settle in full at the reception the evening before made me angry. The whole thing how the rooms and extras were settled was a big turn-off and no-no for me. The lady at the counter was sadly more interested in flirting with colleagues than expediting a Bonvoy customer. Not a single time during the stay was it acknowledged or it felt like they cared whether we were Marriott Bonvoy members or not. Maybe not the end of the world but these things should matter of you pretend to be a «5-star» establishment (vastly different after-taste than on two previous trips to this otherwise lovely island)

Loved my stay at the hotel. This is an ultimate destination for the honeymoon. Moreover they provide you variety of food options. They have 4 restaurants out of which I liked Kumin the most. It is an Indian restaurant that provides you various Indian dishes. Also I loved the service my Mr. Loveraj and his team. He managed us well at every point of time. As I am a vegetarian, it was good to see a variety of options to eat from. I loved this hotel, loved the staff and thier service. They also provide you a designated person to assist you at all times. Our's was Mr. kesaven and he explained everything that what all we can look out for. Amazing country, amazing people and extra amazing service provided by them.
