Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa

Booked Oceanview Pool Villa for 2 nights on halfboard basis. Hotel had a very calm and zen atmosphere, helped us to disconnect. Had seaview from our villa but not beachfront, but still very mesmerising. Private pool was perfect, lightly heated and was able to use at night. Room cleaning services at least 2 times per day and towels were replaced. Food was good but a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel. I also tried Wednesday Mauritian buffet at Lakaz Mama, too few choices and not authentic Mauritian cuisine. Main restaurant being a la Carte was also not very practical. Kanen our butler was very warm and polite. He helped us for all our queries and booked our reservations and activities, he also organised buggy services to roam around the hotel.

Food was exquisite. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Hotel's concept of promoting relaxation was commendable. We really felt special at Shanti. Highly Recommended if you need peaceful and quiet atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful hotel. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special thanks to Mr. Kanen for his warm welcome and exceptional hospitality. He made us feel comfortable and truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay at Shanti Maurice – I think this was our sixth visit, and from our point of view, it remains the best address in Mauritius. What makes Shanti Maurice so special is how personal it feels. The staff are brilliant – friendly, kind and genuinely welcoming – and the management does a fantastic job. A special thank you to our butler, Kanen, who looked after us so well throughout our stay. We love the beach villas. The quality and comfort are truly five-star, the property is beautiful and extremely well maintained, and the beach very special. The food is excellent, with great restaurants and plenty to enjoy. From beginning to end, it is a fantastic experience. I can highly recommend Shanti Maurice to anyone looking for a relaxing break at a smaller, more personal resort in Mauritius. Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. A beautiful hotel set on a huge 16-hectare property, with spacious suites, a really nice spa, and a really stunning beach. The whole resort has a peaceful atmosphere and is always quiet, allowing you to relax perfectly. The food is exceptionally good and the Hotel has 4 Restaurants (Don't miss out on "La Kaz Mama" on wednesdays!). A special mention goes to the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants which were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which makes a big difference. Also, a big thank you to the gym trainer, Ravin, for being so exceptionally friendly and helpful. He's always happy to show how everything works and give advice when needed. Overall, a great place for a relaxing holiday with beautiful surroundings and genuinely friendly staff.
