The Hilton Cancun was a great resort!! Everyone was very hospitable and there were a lot of fun activities! The rooms are very nice and clean. I received great service from the housekeeping staff, guest services, and the dining staff. I enjoyed my lake view scenery. I had an amazing vacation!

We traveled in April 2025 as multiple families with kids between the ages of 5-11. I recommend this resort for families with young children who can take advantage of the Kids Club, Splash Pad, family pool and family friendly night activities. It is far away from the busy hotel zone so there are no vendors hassling you on the beach and it felt very safe to be there with my young family. I also recommend this resort for people with food allergies or celiac. We were able to get gluten free bread at the buffet as well as the sit down restaurants. Some items on the menus and in the buffet were labeled with gluten free and the staff were able to help us order gluten free pasta etc for my child. Juanita at the Mexican restaurant even brought out the chef to talk to us. What really sets this resort apart though is the fantastic service from the staff. If you get a chance to have Joel in the lobby bar make you a drink you will be spoiled. He took such great care of us all week (especially with my need to stay gluten free). In addition both of the sommeliers are fantastic. We loved having a chance to learn more about Mexican wine during the wine serenade and bought a few bottles of Mexican wine for dinner because we had such a great experience talking with Amir. This type of personalized service is what has us looking forward to returning again for a third visit.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Cancun All-Inclusive Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. This is a great option for families—especially those traveling with young children. Amenities & Activities: The resort is still relatively new, and it shows in the quality and cleanliness of the amenities. The property feels fresh and well-maintained. It’s truly kid-friendly, with a dedicated splash area and two pools that our child loved. A special shoutout goes to the Kids Club—it was a highlight of our trip. The staff there were incredibly kind and thoughtful. From the very first day, they remembered our 4-year-old’s name and made him feel right at home. The activities were diverse and well-planned: face painting, a picnic on the beach, pizza-making, crafts, and even a hands-on session with prehispanic musical instruments. It was clear that the team genuinely cared about making the experience fun and enriching for the kids. Food & Dining: We dined at all three of the sit-down restaurants Maxal, La Luce and Auma, and were pleased with the overall food quality and ambiance. Make sure to make reservations in advance, especially if you’re traveling in a group. One unfortunate downside: on our final night, we had a reservation for a group of ten at Auma. However, when we arrived, we were told that our table had been given away to another group who had booked later but paid to upgrade their meal options. At no point were we informed that such an upgrade was available—or required—to secure our reservation. Even more frustratingly, the restaurant made no attempt to notify us in advance about the change. As a result, our group—three families with four young children—was split across separate tables on what was meant to be our special farewell dinner. It was a deeply disappointing experience. That said, the buffet at Vela and the lobby café were surprisingly great. Vela’s breakfast features a quesadilla station, and the café served fresh sandwiches throughout the day along with tasty pizza in the afternoons. Beach: The beach is on the narrower side, and as many have mentioned, there is seaweed present. During our five-day stay, the waves were consistently strong, with yellow and red flags posted daily. As a result, water activities weren’t ideal. Nonetheless, our young kids still had a great time playing in the sand and enjoying the beach in their own way. Final Thoughts: Despite a hiccup on our last night and limited beach access, we had a fantastic time at Hilton Cancun. The resort combines comfort, family-friendly amenities, and thoughtful service in a beautiful setting. We’d happily return—especially for the incredible Kids Club experience.
