Honestly sub par compared to other all inclusives in the Riviera Maya region. The food was awful here! Just really sub par. The only restaurant we somewhat liked were the teppanyaki one and the Mexican one. The workers were great though, and honestly the best part of the resort. It smelled like rotten eggs everywhere, and some of the pools were unusable due to the smell. I’ve been to the Cancun Hilton, and it’s MUCH better. Better food, better options, and shared a spa with the Waldorf Astoria. Don’t waste your time and money at the Tulum resort - it still has so much work to do on itself.

Our trip to the Hilton Tulum was spectacular!! To say my kids had a blast is an understatement. The staff were friendly, attentive & kind. My kids would say the kids club was the best part, they begged to go every day. The resort has their regular buffets and then 5 restaurants you can dine at, all were phenomenal but our favorite was the Auma Steakhouse. Could not recommend enough!

Beautiful resort with excellent service! My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. Upgraded on the app to the King Suite Oceanview and loved the spacious room. We had 3219 and having the closed off living area allowed him to get up early and enjoy coffee on the balcony while I slept in. Huge bathroom a rain shower and soaking tub. It was a quiet spot and each building has its own eternity pool which was nice when you want to chill. There was quite a bit of seaweed, but it didn’t stop us enjoying the beauty of the ocean or resort. There is a small area you can swim in the ocean that was protected from seaweed. Mostly we hung out by the main pools. Service was quick and efficient and we enjoyed the variety of cocktails. We even participated in the pool aerobics at noon and had fun laughing and dancing. The food was very good for an all inclusive. The buffets were plentiful with made to order omelets and Mexican coffee. (Try it-cinnamon and other spices make it a little sweet). Plenty of mimosas and Bloody Mary’s to keep with the vacation vibe. Sea Salt for lunch was worth the short walk and Daniela provided great service. We were only able to secure late reservations for dinner (9pm) but it was worth the wait. Most American will like the steakhouse or Japanese restaurant. My tenderloin filet was tender and well seasoned. We personally liked Maxal Chop House the best because it was different from what we get at home. Bone marrow appetizer was perfectly seasoned and the queso flamiado had the right amount of gooey. Tip-get the mole on the side of the flank steak. My husband liked it, but it was a little strong for me. I had the catch of the day MahiMahi fish and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Finished off with a Lemon Mousse. Reuben and Jorge will take care of you. They go out of their way to meet your every need. Side note: United is non-stop Houston to the new Tulum airport. 45 minute-1 hour transfer to the hotel. Was totally worth the drive and it passed quickly as you took in the sights. No excursions this trip. We simply sat by the pool, enjoyed the oceanview/cocktails and relaxed. The service was 5 star. Who cares about the seaweed?? This resort is worth every penny and the view is incredible.
