Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort

We booked our trip to Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya through Air Canada vacations. We took the shared shuttle from the Cancun airport to the resort, this took us approximately 2 hours as we had to drop multiple people off at other resorts - if you’re looking to spend more time at the resort on your vacation I recommend booking a private transport service. When we arrived check-in went very smoothly, we were able to book our dinner reservations at the à la carte restaurants our first day with the concierge at the main lobby. We did not upgrade to the enclave package as we didn’t think it was worth it. We stayed in casa 5, the room was beautiful with an ocean view. Our room was clean, the AC worked perfectly, the water temperature and pressure were fantastic and our mini fridge was fully stocked with all different kinds of beverages! They also had chips and chips ahoy cookies. There was a nespresso machine in the room but we never used it. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but we managed to sleep just fine! The first couple days there was no smell to the room, however, we noticed on the 3rd or 4th day of our stay the room started to smell like sewage. It was also around the time the sargassum started to build up on the beach, so I don’t know if this was related? We went to the Mediterranean restaurant - the appetizer and desert were delicious, we didn’t enjoy our mains, my husband felt like his pasta had too much oil and mine had way too much butter, but the staff were amazing! I think the food caused my husband to have an upset stomach, as the next day he was feeling quite unwell and spent a lot of the day in our room. We also went to the Italian restaurant - everything tasted great and the service was amazing! We tried the Steak house - I don’t eat beef so I opted for the cauliflower steak, however, did not realize I was going to get a hold head of cauliflower, it tasted OK but I wouldn’t order that again. I think it made me sick as we didn’t finish dinner and had to spend the rest of the night in our room. My husband had the steak which he said was pretty good! The staff at the steak house were excellent! We also ate at the Asian restaurant - we opted for the hibachi which was great, the food was good and the staff were excellent! We tried the buffet for breakfast a few times, once for dinner and a few times for lunch, I would say it was OK, there wasn’t a huge selection and I often felt the food was room temperature. I don’t have huge expectations for a buffet at an all inclusive so I wasn’t mad. We tried snacks at sea salt the beach bar and the lobby bar which were alright but found the food kind of greasy. We ordered room service for breakfast twice which was always great! The food was warm and tasted good. We also ordered room service one night for dinner, which tasted good and was warm! The pools seemed nice, however, we spent most of the time at the beach near casa 3 & 4. The beach was rocky and there was a lot of sargassum during our stay. The staff work very hard to try and remove it, but during our stay there was piles of sargassum on the beach! If you go to the beach by the main building it’s not as rocky and easier to get into the water and no sargassum. We always bring water shoes when we travel so I would highly recommend for this resort. We saw a lot of fish in the water, but they were mostly the same ones - good place to snorkel but we didn’t see anything that cool. We never had a hard time finding chairs at the beach, we never had to get up super early like we have in the past at other resorts - so that was nice! They have a big water park type area for kids which is nice if you have little ones! They had nightly entertainment which we went to a couple of nights which was fun! And they had activities at the pool during the day. There was beach volley ball and kayaks available at the beach. The staff at this resort were amazing and so kind! Overall we had a great time on our trip and this is a beautiful resort, however, we’d likely not return as the food made us feel unwell and that can put a damper on a vacation.

In all my years as a Hilton Honors member, we felt that this hotel was the first that recognized and appreciated our status. Resort is clean, modern and well maintained. Our butler, Enrique, provided everything we could need to make our stay very special.” As a result of that review, we decided to return to the Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort for the period of February 22 to March 1, 2026, and again had the most amazing, relaxing and perfect stay. Our party of four felt like VIPs due to the attention given to us by our wonderful butler, Enrique Catzin. We were in communication with him prior to our arrival and he coordinated everything we desired. Restaurant reservations were made for us for each evening and a birthday surprise for two of us were arranged. Dealing with Enrique is such a pleasure and he always goes above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Employees of his caliber are very rare, and we hope that the Hotel values him as much as these guests do! Every employee at the resort is special. The Resort is immaculately clean and well maintained. Food throughout is excellent with service that enhances the meal. We look forward to future visits to your wonderful Hotel and seeing Enrique for many years, as we consider him a friend as well. Thank you until next year.

Amazing resort with excellent food even at the buffet. The kids club is also AMAZING. An activity every hour, you can check in and check out whenever you want. Family event and shows organized every night. Such a great and resting vacation

I want to thank Hilton Tulum and incredible staff for making our stay the most memorable and welcoming. From the moment we arrived we have been greeted by the most helpful receptionist Paulina. She asked how our trip was and when we told that we had a very long and tiring journey (6 hours driving, 10.5 hours flight) she has spoken to her manager and upgraded us to the most beautiful room (with separate living room in Casa 6 with ocean view). We had jet lag and it took us couple days to adjust to the local time but it was amazing to watch sunset straight from our balcony. The entertainment team was absolutely amazing and I loved bachata lessons and pool parties - such a great vibe. We only have one suggestion - most places have kids corner at buffets with simple options for kids (chicken nuggets, fish fingers, fries, pasta, vegetable - tomato, cucumber..) We found that buffets had limited choices (especially for dinners). We preferred the buffet near Casa 6 for breakfast and lunches and loved sitting near the sea. Shops in the resort are very expensive (especially for someone from Europe) so pack everything you might need from home. Otherwise, we loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat!

My family and I just got back from Hilton, Tulum. We were there with friends and there were 14 people in our group. The resort and all the staff are amazing. My family and I love participating in activities and we had a blast. I took yoga and a strength class everyday with Monica and Gio everyday. They were just fun and silly and I got a great workout. The last todays of yoga they did a Mayan ritual and then a sound bath. First time doing both and I was blown away. The resort is extremely clean and the food is out of this world. You could order food at all of the pools and they had free room service. It is a large resort, but they have a shuttle that takes you from one side to the other. I usually walked it and it took me 8 minute, so I got my steps in. The nightly entertainment was great. We did the buffet for lunch but then did the restaurants for dinner and they did not disappoint. We felt bad for the servers at dinner because we had 7 kids at our table, but the servers were very patient and understanding. Lastly, my wife left her phone in the bathroom one day and she was panicking, spoke with the security and concierge and they wound it and returned it. So very honest and trusting staff. Don't think twice, just go to this resort.
