Really very impressed with the quality of the hotel and the location. Rooms were of a very good quality with plenty of room, maybe one extra set of drawers would be great but managed perfectly well.. The cleanliness in all areas was of a very good standard, The staff in all areas were excellent, friendly and did a great job and made it a really good experience. Have stayed in many Riu hotels, palaces and this one is right up there with the best.

I definitely can’t complain about the hotel but as far as the service I definitely saw I’d be forgotten about while I was dining at any of the restaurants except the steak house it was the only one I got excellent service. I’d sit to eat and it’d take a good while before anyone asked if I wanted a drink, etc mainly because they’d see me alone and just assumed I was waiting on someone. Once they knew I was alone then they’d definitely make me wait a lot more compared to other couples or families. Regardless it was a great time but I’d wish the staff treated me equally during my dining experience.

I really don't know where to start. Pick up at airport was fast and easy. Check in was amazing, our room was ready at 1 PM! We had dinner at the Sports Bar, Agave Mexican, Rimini the Italian twice. and the Kaori Asian restaurant. All were excellent! We stayed in one of the rooms with the swim out pool, so awesome. The room was immaculate and clean. The mini bar was filled every day, whatever I asked for they put in it. The room cleaning was amazing everyday. The entertainment at night was great. The beach amazing, no sargassum when we were there. The adults only pool on the rooftop a special touch with the bar. The staff there was amazing, not sure where these negative reviews come from, but most likely from people who don't tip and think they should be treated like royalty because they book an all inclusive. There are so many staff I would like to mention built can remember all, Antonio at the theater bar, Alex at the Italian and Alexandro at the buffet. This resort is 5 star and thank you to Luis Riu and his family for an amazing resort!

Great place for a quick trip Pools was great The food and drinks were amazing Only thing was I didnt know if we could've gotten a shuttle to the hotel we got scammed to pay usd140 from cun to the hotel

Love it! The pool was great and the room was very clean, all the staff were very friendly, the food was good. The only thing was the tv was very low
