A fantastic resort with polite and attentive staff. Before choosing it, I read all the reviews, which were excellent. I read a recent review of La Gale... I don't understand how people can write such bad reviews. Nothing they've reported is true, as I and the many other reviews can assure you. I will gladly return. Thank you all.

Don’t EVER come here!!! We came here to celebrate my birthday and it turned into a disaster. For one, we booked all inclusive double room sea side, when we arrived to the Hotel, they were out of what we booked and put us in a queen bed room(no compensation for booking a different type of room). The biggest mess up of all was our reservation didn’t include ALL INCLUSIVE, it only included breakfast. The staff didn’t try to accommodate us at all, no manager no nothing. Once in the room, we had no wash clothes, we had to shower with the medium size hand towels, we asked for wash clothes on several occasions and was ignored each time! The ocean is hard to access because of the seaweed and the smell on the resort smells like sewer water. The room was hot even when we put the air on 16 degrees, it didn’t help. And today (Saturday) as we were coming back, the young lady at the front desk stated they were going to charge us $20 per towel, because we had turmeric on the towel. Ok….. I get having to pay for the towels, but these are very cheap towels that didn’t cost $20. So in total we have to pay $60 to replace three towels that’s thin as paper!!! We will never ever come back to the VR CLUB and I suggest you don’t either!! Hotel never tried to make things right as if they didn’t care.

The best bit is that the staff were great helping my wife with her mobility issues when I wasn't around Just generally great and always hapy When Mexico played in the world cup they put on a magnificent evening with a big big screen and a local commentator then roped with tequila shots whenever Mexico scored There are turtle nests on the beach which the hotel is guarding and looking after which is good news Sadly the hotel was nearly deserted so the food on offer varied from very good at breakfast to just about ok in the evening The biggest downside was that our room had no hot water for the whole two weeks and I did ask for it to be fixed but that seemed to be an impossibility

Perfectly located on a very cozy white coral sand beach North of Tulum. A human size boutique hotel (most rooms have a sea view), recently renovated. Good and varied food in a buffet restaurant. Live music on several occasions. A real gem: dayly stretching and yoga classes animated by Jose.
