Novotel Wrocław Hotel

A bit outside the city, but easy to get to from the motorway. Friendly staff, nice room, nice bar and restaurant, the only thing which could be better is breakfast ( i waited half an hour to get eggs, and didn't see these )

Overall very lovely hotel, modern and room was also very presentable and clean. Bed was very comfy. The staff were friendly and pleasant. We had a meal in the restaurant on the first night which was absolutely incredible. It was decorated lovely with all the Christmas decorations. Downsides were the hotel wasn’t quite as close to the city centre as we had hoped/been led to believe. It was a good 10-15 min walk to tram stop and then 25 mins journey in to the centre. However we did use the “Bolt” app on occasion which was handy if you wanted a quicker taxi journey back, very cheap too. Sadly there was a strange smell in the bathroom. The tea/coffee in the room was quite minimal. We weren’t able to control the temperature in the room so was either too hot or too cold. The pillows weren’t very comfy. We could also hear people above us through the vents. One morning we were woke up early with a couple arguing and also could hear children screaming and running bout back and forth on the landing above us. Despite the downsides we were overall pleased and would stay again. And I think the 4/5 reflects that.

Everything was perfect during my stay at Novotel Wrocław City. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very welcoming. Special thanks to Mr. Łukasz from the restaurant, who is doing an outstanding job – professional, attentive, and always with a smile. He really made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended

Let me start with an apology, if it was possible my rating would be 4.5 stars from 5. I have very few concerns, and the ones I'm going to mention are more related to personal preference and not about any shortcomings with the hotel. This hotel really must be a sliver away from being 4 star and I would suggest that it merits the upgrade. Let's get the "bad" stuff over and done with first. Despite being named the Novotel City Hotel, it's actually some distance from places of interest in the centre of Wroclaw. Certainly not walkable, and public transport is a ten to 15 minute walk from the hotel. With Bolt / Uber, it's easily remedied and at reasonable cost. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again. My main gripe is actually related to something I am also passionate about. Protecting our natural resources. There's a few notices dotted around about water conservation. The room includes a refillable water bottle which I haven't seen at other hotels...a good thing. When it comes to the shower, their calculations might be a bit off!! They have some of the weakest water pressure I've ever experienced!! There's more water in the Atacama Desert in an average year than seems to be the case here!! I'm not asking to be blown off my feet, but come on, you can do better than what you have!! My second and final concern is about the restaurant. It felt like I was at an airport hotel. You have the space to be so much more creative and interesting!! Now to the good points...staff are generally warm and welcoming from assisting me with a restaurant booking on the night of my arrival to a late dinner at the hotel restaurant. I am grateful. Room size is excellent...spacious and comfortable. My room overlooked a patio with large umbrellas, obviously this area could be used for functions and maybe as an extension to the bar. If in use, I would have been concerned as the rooms are not soundproofed. The beds are comfortable, though the pillows were a little soft for me. My room was very well maintained by the domestic team, absolutely spotless!! I would be very happy to stay here again on my next visit. Thanks to all for your efforts.
