We stayed at the Sopotorium for a week over Easter 2026 for some rest and relaxation. I have visited a lot of spas previously. The Sopotorium was fantastic and less than half the price of an equivalent stay in a spa hotel in the UK. The best bit were the treatments. There were two price lists: “medical center” treatments and “spa treatments”. They operated as a single system. The quality of both kinds of treatment were excellent. I preferred the “medical” massages to the “spa” massages because they were more technical and therapeutic. The medical massage therapists I spoke to were student physiotherapists undertaking a five year physiotherapy degree. They had already undertaken a two year technical massage education. They were so highly skilled. It cost less than £50 for an hour long, expertly executed back massage. It would have cost at least £120 at a spa in the UK. The “cosmetologists” who do the spa treatments were also highly skilled and had trained for years to graduate level. Their face treatments were incredible. The one I loved most was “zoga face therapy”. It was basically 90 minutes of intensive massage and muscle manipulation of the face, neck and décolletage. I visited the “Graduation tower” for 45 minutes every day (basically a room full of loungers where you lie and breathe in air with a high concentration of salt) and had ten minute “inhalations with herbs” where you breathe in even higher concentrations of salt through a machine. It definitely had an impact on my sinusitis. My partner and I had a comfortable big room at the Sopotorium with (just about) a sea view. One wall was glass so it was light and airy. We booked an “easter package” which was half board with some optional health activities and entertainment at night. The food was excellent. It was a buffet breakfast and dinner. I am a vegan which can be tricky sometimes, but the hotel catered for me at every meal, from tofu spread and olive hummus with breakfast to chickpea curry to mushroom risotto for dinner. I ended up eating a lot of food because I would find lots of lovely things to eat from the buffet whilst I was waiting for my vegan food to arrive so I would end up eating both! My non-vegan partner rated the buffets highly as well. There were lots of staff on duty so everything was cleared. restocked and cleaned quickly and service was excellent. I also don’t drink alcohol but there were lots of choices in the bar where we went every night to enjoy the entertainment. My favourite was hot, 0% alcohol mulled wine. There were also some great mocktails and fresh herb lemonade. I had never been to Poland before and the seaside resort of Sopot was a delightful surprise. Miles of gorgeous beaches, lovely restaurants (although we were mostly already full from the Sopotorium buffets) and art noveau buildings. The cities of Gdansk and Gdynia are a 20 minute cab ride away so we went exploring most days after our treatments. We walked miles. The experience of the Second World War museum in Gdansk was profound and it made me even more respectful of the courage and determination of Polish people. Overall, we had a fantastic Easter break at the Sopotorium.

This is already our fifth stay at Sopotorium – and certainly not the last! The hotel offers ideal conditions for relaxation – the proximity to the sea, the beautiful scent throughout the facility, and the relaxing atmosphere truly allow you to unwind. The staff- friendly, helpful, and very professional – both at the reception and during breakfast and dinner service. The food is delicious and varied – everyone will find something they like. The rooms are not cleaned daily, but you can easily request it at the reception – this is completely understandable and aligns with the hotel's eco-friendly approach. It might be worth considering installing a shoe-cleaning machine to make it easier to get rid of sand after returning from the beach. Warm greetings to the entire hotel team – wishing you continued success and great cooperation!

This hotel has 4 * but should have 2* 1. No toiletries in bathroom. I was told to used soap as a shampoo and conditioner. 2. Very flimsy slippers - impossible to used them 3. No room cleaning - you have to ask at the reception 4. Very mediocre dinner. 5. When arrived- the room smelled with cleaning chemicals- had to vent the room for few hrs. 6.Let me tell you about SPA . After I booked I discovered that the treatments in package are not preformed on weekends and holidays. When I arrived not only I had Saturday and Sunday on top of those days Thursdays was also a holiday. So what was left out of 5 days- only 2 days of treatments. Paying 5822 zł for 5 days and having only 2 days, it was not fair. Since my booking was over the phone , one should inform me about that. I had conversations with SPA direct, but the was told that it is not her business if I know Polish holidays scheduled or not, she is not going to do anything for me. Very rude and not customer friendly approach. Overall hotel- not worth the money, spa treatment- the one in the package, not worth the money, food - not worth the money
