I don't think I've been anywhere previously where every member of staff is so incredibly helpful, polite and friendly. The restaurant staff were all exceptional and all others in bars, reception and shuttle bus drivers were excellent. The apartments are very spacious, clean with great blackout curtains and soft large towels. The shuttle buses to beach were incredibly helpful as it was so hot to walk! Although I didn't put 5* for location as there isn't a huge amount to walk out and see around the immediate vicinity of the hotel, the beach shuttle is a great service and it's quiet, away from the Albufeira strip which we chose deliberately. It's definitely a family hotel and not one for large noisy drinking groups. Falesia beach is beautiful and so close by, soft sand and perfect swimming conditions. The hotel dealt with dietary issues extremely well, much better than other places we've stayed. From the form at check-in to staff members individually explaining what I could eat even though there were allergen and gluten symbols clearly displayed, I was very impressed. Highly recommend.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday here which was our 2nd visit this time during school holidays. Lots of children which I dont mind at all its some of the adults that grate on me but more on that later. The room is large even with 3 of us and really clean, could do with updating in parts but u only sleep and shower so for us no matter. We were AI and food is fantastic although it does repeat on a 2 week holiday but that cant be helped and we went out a couple of nights to break it up. The Staff are all fantastic particular in the restaurant especially Sao, Thank You for teaching me some Portuguese. If I could change anything it would be the entertainment, it needs a good team 4 adults to organise some sort of games in the day. Nothing over the top just boules or darts to break up the day and get to know other people more and then some maybe better quality evening entertainment. We dont mind sitting having a drink and playing games but over 2 weeks we would like a little more. The karaoke on a Friday is good not going to admit it was me who started it off with the YMCA and then Dancing Queen later, oh I just did lol. I apologise if it was painful to anyone's ear drums but I just cant help myself especially as the guy seemed to be struggling to get people to participate. One thing is disappointing was the sunbed situation yes its the same everywhere with people putting towels down, I get it we did it as well but we did actually use the bed! On a few days some beds were reserved and no one sat on them until late afternoon which is really selfish! Also when people were waiting for pool 2 open and pushing past in order to get the beds and still not use them! Sadly the non reservation of beds is not policed so people can do as they wish. Its an ongoing issue across Europe although some hotels do have a bed reservation system that works well and saves getting up early. On saying that we had a fabulous holiday and in a couple of years we shall return. Agree from another review about the state of the pavements outside hotel I am surprised more people dont trip and hurt themselves. Thank You 😊

I have a complaint about the state of the pavements in the area from the hotel and towards local restaurants. We now pay a tourist tax to visit Portugal. This should be used to make the pavements saver to walk on. The hotel itself was great
