The Patio Suite Hotel

Hotel is situated around 30mins drive from Albufeira old town. There are a few restaurants and shops close by for those choosing the self catering option. There are 2 beach options for which the hotel provides a mini bus shuttle service. The hotel has a relaxed vibe. There’s not much in the way of entertainment in the evening; a couple of crooners and a bit of karaoke. However, there are boardgames and chess on hand with a lot of people bringing cards/Uno to play with family into the evening. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 almost adult children so booked the 2 bed apartment. I think this could have made our experience better than others as heard some say the rooms were a little tight. Our room had a full kitchen, open plan lounge/dining area with with small balcony from it, bathroom, 2 bedrooms (1 ensuite) and a very large balcony off the master bedroom. It ieas just that bit easier than with a 1 bed apartment. We were all inclusive and I feel got good value for money. I have read reviews saying there’s not much food but there’s plenty. It’s just rather than 5 plates of the same thing dotted around a large buffet, there’s only the one plate refreshed every few minutes which tbh I’d prefer. The pizza oven/station is a great option and there’s always the trusty nuggets and chips for the kids if need be. The hotel felt a little boutiquey which was nice. One thing to note is the north pool (rectangular) felt cold even in 30 degree heat! However, when you need to cool down, ya gotta cool down and it didn’t stop us using it. Toilets by the pool were largely clean and kept dry which is unheard of and there’s a small children’s club if you wish to avail. All in all, a very relaxed week where we were well looked after. I don’t usually return to the same hotel twice but if this came up as an option when searching for next year and nowhere else was ticking the boxes I’d have no issues returning here.

Well located within a 10 minute walk of selection of bars and restaurants and a 10 minute drive to Albufeira or Vilamoura. 2 bedroomed deluxe apartment with 2 bathrooms and huge terrace was perfect for 2 couples travelling together. Would highly recommend .

What a lovely hotel. So clean staff amazing and so helpful. Location just 20 mins walk from the best beach. So many restaurants and shops nearby. Lovely pools can't complain about anything. Our trip was self catering with teenagers and they absolutely loved the place

Excellent stay. Staff polite, courteous and considerate. Pool facilities were very good. Good restaurant and bar.

Sixteen members of our family, age range 4 to 76, spent 7 days at the Patio Suite Hotel from 8th-15th August on an all-inclusive basis. We had a wonderful time. Rooms were spacious and clean, air conditioning good, good range of food and drink available and very helpful, friendly staff. Two outside pools for adults and one for toddlers and we always found enough sun loungers although could be tight at times. As a group of 16 we were very well served by the restaurant staff who arranged tables together when we wished and separately when we ate at different times. There is a free shuttle bus service to two nearby beaches and it is worth using these as walking with young children can be hazardous. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
