It is a lovely, local hotel with pleasant, helpful staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious. It is very reasonable, quiet and offers two dine-in restaurants. The Magna offers more traditional Portugese fare (and as a vegetarian I couldn't sample this sadly) and the Mirante Rooftop Bar is an exceptional Japanese/Fusion restaurant that I cannot speak highly enough about! It was amazing and catered to my vegetarian tastes perfectly... One can enjoy a lovely spa experience in a separate building, and also the gym and hotel's pool in a lovely setting. Certainly not your big chain hotel model being followed here. Much more quaint, scenic and relaxing. I recommend it highly.

Modern but also cosy hotel, very nice staff, rooms very clean, huge breakfast offers (don’t know why some were complaining). Wifi sometimes not stable, but got a repeater frpm the reception and it worked really well. Excursions with your car easy to make in all directions. Hotel not easy to find, you definitely need navigation. Very narrow streets. Huge garden and nice pool area. Can only recommend.

Wonderful boutique hotel attentive staff, nice rooms and good food. My wife and I loved our stay, will stay here again. Highly recommend.

Lovely stylish spacious room overlooking the garden. The staff were very helpful and friendly. About a 5 k walk to town.

Our stay at Senhora da Rosa was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel has a beautiful garden and plenty of outdoor space that really connects you with the nature of the Azores. While some of the facilities show a bit of age, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. The staff were fantastic—everyone from the front desk to the cleaning team and restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to, which made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable—perfect after a long day exploring the island. Having a patio was a real bonus, especially for enjoying the clear night skies. The spa area was calm and relaxing, with access to the steam room and sauna for all guests. The pineapple hot tub was a unique and fun highlight of our stay. Breakfast was delicious. The variety isn’t huge, but everything was fresh and flavourful, especially the local pineapples. Overall, a truly memorable stay. We’d happily recommend Senhora da Rosa to anyone visiting the island.
