The Reserve

We picked The Reserve to celebrate our honeymoon and were extremely pleased at the overall quality of service, facilities, room, food, and location within Funchal. This is the type of exclusive hotel you go to for major life celebrations or for complete privacy. It was a very restful retreat in an otherwise adventurous and enjoyable island to visit. We would absolutely visit again when we’re back in Madeira!

An excellent and luxurious stay. With a likeable and attentive team looking to meet our every need. Being fast-tracked through the airport on arrival and departure was an impressive bonus. Good location - a pleasant walk away from Funchal centre. Recommended.

A very belated review and thank you, we had a wonderful 8 nights stay in December. Christina the manager and her entire GEPA team took such great care of us. From the beautiful rooms to breakfast everyday, concierge GEPA service always available, it was truly one of a kind vacation for us to explore Madeira from. The hotel was very quiet at the beginning of December, so feel like we were extra fortunate. The weather cooperated with only one 1/2 day of torrential rain, the rest of the time we were outside with no problems. I would love to come back when it is warm enough to take advantage of the private pool area. We just returned from another trip to Italy, and on multiple occasions mentioned missing having a GEPA to support our trip!

The Reserve was a fabulous treat for our family! All staff at The Reserve and the Hotel Savoy were incredible, they would go above and beyond to create some a memorable experience for our family. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! We will be back!
